Lou, Greg and Doug Price are the my influences on the Net and deserve a bottle! I love the El Tesoro brand and I'm sure that Juice is great, wish I had a few ozs. But I can buy 5-6+ bottles of the delicious Extra Anejo in the blue box and be a happy man for that price.

Oh man. Yeah anything that booker was directly involved in is gonna have that dead master distiller price tag. I had a shot of the original bookers rye a few years ago around Christmas and it cost me like 80$ but worth it at the moment for how into whiskey I was back then and it was unbelievably sweet and robust almost jager level sweet. I can’t even imagine the depth of flavor on some of the crazier old school coveted tequila’s. We experience the bottles we’re meant to experience it seems. Not worth stressing over chasing the rich man’s bar. I go for good vodka, cheap wine and good tequila these days because when i drink bourbon I get so stressed out over imagining how good certain vintage bottles were compared its like the ultimate somethings always better conundrum. When I drink things that aren’t my forte I seem to live more in the moment.

I found it for 180 today. Bought a few bottles.

Have you ever tried to mix a few drops of whiskey into a blanco to see how close it comes to a XA or repo?

As much as I love all the La Altena products , I’m not supporting this current tequila price gouging anymore . There are still plenty of quality tequilas, in all classes , that are under $75 or less , imho .
