Why did I think they were going to paint red over the soles with a brush like how Andy's name was painted over on Woody's boot?

It's so bizarre how spotless the shoes are beside the damaged sole O.o there's literally no signs of use on the inside

I used to paint the bottoms of my heels with red nail polish... this turned out way better.

Honestly everytime I say ine of those shoes I can´t get over the fact how BRILLIANT the idea of the red soles on every show is. Like, thats the best marketing you can do and its sooo iconic aswell. Blows my mind every time

They should place a protective see through film (like they do with cellphones) on the sole to protect the red paint. Why doesn’t Louboutin invent a red sole that does not come off? 😜

When I was a kid my mom used to take me with her to a small restoration shop to drop her shoes and bags, we loved sitting down and chat with the old gentleman owning the shop and watch him do the restorations. This channel brings me back so many memories, we were so sad when the shop closed 😢 and I wish this trade will stay alive for many generations to come.

Just saw a video of someone repairing the same brand of shoes. He put some rubber (whatever that material isl to repair the red bottoms of the shoe. But you actually painted just like how it was made.

Really nice work. FAR better than that awful Art Insider video I've just watched where the 'professional/expert' utterly ruined and destroyed a beautiful pair of Louboutin heels and called it a 'restoration'... You do fantastic work and made those heels as close to new as possible!

I’ve only seen one other restoration and yours is more convincing that the shoes didn’t get repaired. The other channel I went on glued on a red piece to the bottom which made it quite obvious it was restored while yours looks like they never been worn. Now this is what I call a restoration.

If these would have been taken in to a professional cobbler and soled before being worn they never would have gotten in this state. Also, whilst this sole restoration looks aesthetically pleasing, kudos for that, it's all for nothing once you wear them outside again, they will scuff in no time. Forget wearing them inside on any kind of stone or wooden floor, they'll be potentially treacherous with that new high gloss finish. I fail to understand why some people spend this kind of money on Louboutin shoes and do not invest in protecting them out of the gate. Any quality professional cobbler can red sole Louboutin shoes out of the box so that they never look like this and require such restoration.

Those soles need proper replacing, not just compound and paint.

The wear at the beginning is probably from about 3/4 uses. Did the absolute most for something that this person is barely gonna get any wear out of before it looks the same again. This is why cobblers replace the leather with a vibram sole 😐

My grandfather and uncles owned an auto body repair shop and as a kid I’d watch them do the exact same thing to cars.

These red bottom shoes need to be walking on RED CARPET so the color will not come off !!

The thing is don’t get is... the soles are just going to end up messed up again after five minutes. It would make more sense to get red sole protectors.

Why a heel so expensive not have textured bottom easy to slip and fall. For those that have texture how do you repair wored texture on soles of heels?

Why would you do that ? Just put a half red rubber sole and it will last an entire life... like this it will be ruined again in only one night 😔
