Here you are a video about a very loud Caterham Seven 620R I saw during the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed. It's powered by a supercharged 2.0 litre Ford Duratec engine with 310bhp at 7700 rpm on a car that weights only 572 kg. 0-100 km/h (0-60) acceleration is around 2.8 seconds.

What a freakin' beast!😈 Definitely one of the most badass machines at Goodwood this year!💪😲 Just imagine the power-to-weight ratio it would have had if the driver didn't have such huge balls of steel. Of course, that probably helped the car stay planted in the corners.😆 All BS aside, phenomenal car and much appreciation to Bozzy and crew for putting together this fantastic video.👏👊👍 Cheers!

I did. Built my Westfield two litre ('cause I don't really like cars; prefer two wheels) then commuted seventy miles round trip five days a week for about five years. Spun it on entry slips to the M1 on cold February days, drove through floods and darkness. Everyday I felt so alive. Gone back to two wheels now 'cause that's what makes me feel alive.

Not at all. Caterhams have lovely, direct and precise steering. They go exactly where you point them. They are the nearest thing to a racing car that you can drive on the road and are great fun, even the 100 bhp versions (like mine). He was driving it in a very inaccurate and sloppy way - deliberately so in order to show how much fun these cars can be. If he was taking part in a truly competitive hill climb or sprint event he would be producing lousy times because of the amount of oversteer and underrsteer he was deliberately inducing. Caterham often set up their demo cars to behave like this because they look crazy and fun to spectators.

FANtastic car, skilled driver, handles her real well. Only thing that bothers me here is that he continuously hits the rev limiter. No need to go that high to get all the power, not to mention the maximum torque which is much lower on the rev range...

Please F1, if you are going to have small engine 1.5 hybrid, make the petrol/gas engine a 4 cylinder. The current V6 are just one step above a electric milk float in charisma.
