I'm sure it improves performance a little bit. These cars are pretty taped out from the factory. The only way to make serious power is boost.

I totally agree. Valves open really kills the intake noise. I prefer to drive valves closed for spirited driving

If it was me that purchased the exhaust I would probably have chosen something different. The car is very raspy with the valves open. The sound itself is so much better with the valves closed

A lot of rear sections are 2-3k, and x pipes are 1-2k. Almost everyone who wants a quality full exhaust on an M car is going to pay 5k. Good luck finding a turbo setup for the S65 for anything under 15k. In respect to the video this sounds insane. Too loud for me. But I can respect it

Wouldn’t necessarily say embarrassing, but it just doesn’t sound great 😬 sounds rather like a 500$ exhaust.. A backbox mod sounds wayyy better, but then again, it all comes done to personal tastes 👍🏻 great color on an amazing car :-)

I think the car sounds GREAT with the valves closed, the video has two back to back flybys with the valves closed. I can see why a lot of people wouldn't like the sound with the valves open. I definitely do prefer valves closed when it comes to sound
