Louisiana original is the best marinade for bone in skin on grilled chicken. Marinade for minimum of 2 hours. It will tenderize and not leave it too spicy. Kids love it!
Crystal is actually the original Louisiana hot sauce, predating the Louisiana brand. And probably my favorite here too, at learning given the right uses. Great on seafood or cajun food!
I like Original Louisiana sauce it is universally available and especially great with soups, Tabasco Jalapeño sauce is great on green beans, brussel sprouts and asparagus. A sweeter Habenaro Sauce really goes with chain tacos for some reason, Yucatan Sunshine is easy to find for me.
Just goes to prove taste is personal preference. My least favorite is your#1 lol. I use Crystal the most. Really enjoy the different varieties of Tiger. Only use Tabasco for clam chowder and bloody marys. Haven't tried Dat sauce but looking forward to it. My 2nd go to is Salsa Huichol. I use it for my Mexican dishes - and eggs. Lots of flavor and a little more heat.
Louisiana is my favorite. Got turned on to it by Justin Wilson when he was on TV. Today, I use the habenero version almost exclusively. Tobasco has some uses and i always have some in stock, but it is too vinegar forward for me for many uses.
You never eat sauces at anybody's house but your own. You do not eat other people's sauces, or anything they spread on bread like mayo or peanut butter. You also never drink anything in their fridge either. Why, well because you never know how they use those items. They could double dip the spoon in things like peanut butter, drink from the container like a 2 liter bottle, lick the top of the sauce container etc. I will never ever ever ever touch any sauces, spreads or drink any drinks at anybody's house but my own. I do not want Ketchup, BBQ sauce, hot sauce or any other sauce that other people have used, nor do I want a peanut butter sandwich that someone may have ate out of the jar, nor do I wanna drink from a container that people may have drank out of. People are so quick to not question how food has been handled and who has handled it. Think about it, have you ever just drank out of a container, or dipped your spoon back in a jar of peanut butter after putting the spoon in your mouth? So imagine if other people are also doing that. They are. So do not worry about other houses not having hot sauces, because you should never use their hot sauce to begin with. Better yet, take your own condiments if you're going to somebody's house. Get you a little lunch box, get you some bottles of sauces, and carry your sauces with you. You can fit a bottle of ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, a few bottles hot sauce, a small jar of mayo etc inside a lunch box. You can fit about 10 small bottles or jars in a lunch box. Also, never eat pickles from anybody's house either. You never know who has put their dirty finger in the jar. Just stop eating at other people's houses, it is gross.
@@wadeysworld8315 That's a fairly rare one and pretty expensive outside of Louisiana. It's good though and is the only one that i know of that's jalapeno based.
My review would have Louisiana and Cajun Chef as #1 and #2 and Tabasco as dead last. To me, Tabasco just tastes like vinegar and it is too hot for me to use on a regular basis, it's probably 3 times as hot as Louisiana, Cajun Chef and Crystal.
I agree that Louisianna us tge best and still my favorite. But You lost me at Tabasco. Dont get me wrong, I like it and its flavour, and I applaud its use of unique and different peppers and ONLY peppers, but it has never burned my mouth so hottest? No way. Its literally the weakest hot sauce I own.
