These cocoa bombs or hot chocolate bombs have been around in the UK since the early 90's. I remember them in certain shops in London. Of course, now they're everywhere.

No u do not. Just throw in microwave. If u look on the bag there is usually heating instructions

If u use almond bark u just heat up till melted. Milk Chocolate is 88 degrees to temper.

I know they’re “trending” and cool and pretty but I’m not a fan of hot cocoa bombs. Hot cocoa has always been kinda boring to me, and it’s anticlimactic for these chocolate vessels. Also hot chocolate powder grosses me out, even though I love chocolate. I just want those “bombs” to be filled candies-which they can be, right? Filled with creams, cherries, nougat, nuts, caramel, etc....?!
