Paula and Eddie, did you know the American Hydrangea Society is based out of Atlanta? It is a wonderful group helping people learn more about hydrangeas. We just had our annual garden tour a couple of weeks ago. You have an absolutely beautiful garden! Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

Oh yes the amazing Penny McHenry! Does anyone know about her? She will forever be known as the hydrangea lady. She had the most beautiful yard in Atlanta full of hydrangeas and probably forgot more about them than most of us will ever know. Loved her!

Good morning from Oklahoma. Your yard is BEAUTIFUL!!! One thing about the Hydrangeas, your soil will determine if they are blue, pink or pink/purple. I think it’s tha Acidity.

Your gardens are beautiful the waterfall adds a serial feeling as well as lake. I have rose gardens with other plants lots water but growing all year here in California. Many other plants to. I love flowers. ❤

Beautiful flowers. There's room for some hostas and rhododendrons and astilbe and some tree ferns and some roses too. It's a lovely yard. The koi are cool.

I am surprised you don't have a pond, with fresh catfish and things of that nature. So you can dig it out and cook it up. What a gorgeous yard. If only I could be at one with the reptiles.

This is crazy but I've found those ones they sell in the grocery stores are VERY hardy. They can survive an upstate NY winter. You can change the color in some as well by changing the pH soil levels.
