I was very skeptical about this when you started making this dish but Teresa's face told all, she seemed like she really liked it. So it must be good. I too would not put all that pasta. You did good. I remember that show with Richard, I laughed so much. I loved his shows too. Good old days memories. Love and Best Dishes ya'll.

I have 3 cans of pumpkin I didn't know what I was going to do with and now I know. I love all things fall, the colors, the flavors, the smells, etc. So these recipes will pair well with the cool weather and get us all into the fall mood!

I'm glad to see someone else taking the sausage out of the casing. Whenever I cook sausage links, I always remove the casing because of it being so tough.

Once anyone tries fresh shaved or grated parmesan cheese...it makes the shaker cheese taste like blah. The contrasting colorrs of the grey, green and pumpkin would look so cool.

I made this to kick off the month of October and it was absolutely delicious! I followed a different recipe I had found online, the only difference I see is that the other recipe included a cup of white wine and a tsp of nutmeg. I don't really think the wine added much flavor, but it could have been the cheap clearance wine I picked up. I added some cayenne pepper, because I love my food spicy.

Just stumbled on this in May... I'll store this recipe and pull it out in the fall as it really looks delicious! I'm thinking this would be great to make into a 'fall lasagna' and using a smoked gouda as the cheese to top it off with. Serve with field greens tossed with dried cranberries and toasted pecans and an apple cider vinaigrette with side of hot pumpernickel bread... does that sound good, Paula? :)
