Thanks for another wonderful reaction to Angelina Jordan. Angelina has told us she has written more than 100 songs and we have been blessed with 12 to date. She inspires me to do my best to live longer, so I can hear as many of her songs as possible. Listing the 12 originals. "What is Life" first sung at age 11. We don't know how old she was when she wrote each song. Age presented is her age when she first sang it. "Oslo" age 11 "Shield" age 12 "Million Miles" age 14 we know she wrote this one in the days after her maternal grandfather passed in 2019 when she was 13 "7th Heaven" age 15 "Love Don't Let Me Go" age 17 "Now I'm the Fool" age 17 "Fire and Rain" age 17 "It's All My Fault" age 17 "Good in Goodbyes" age 17 "Diamond" age 17 "Our Time" age 17 Should include songs for which she was the first to sing "I'm Still Holding Out for You" age 10 .... considered one of her best vocal performances by many "Song for A" age 12 "Above the Water" a EDM song released near her 14th birthday "We're the Best" sung with RedOne at the FIFA Awards Feburary 27, 2023

You got it right away ! Angelina is talking to love. She's not talking about love. She's talking to love. Her lyrical composition is so well written. Remember she's only 17 and able to produce such relatable lyrics. Angelina is an old soul and this definitely is a vintage, and nostalgic look into the past. I'm surprised you guys didn't watch the visual video on this because it's excellent and features her grandmother Mery with her in the video. Another thing to remember is although she was 17 when this song was released she was probably no more than 16 when the song was written. She could have even been younger.

@@pjg58x good point ! Angelina apparently has over 100 songs she has composed that she hasn't released yet ! I feel she will be able to be prolific , unique and different from other singers ! Her jazz background gives her something so special and needed in the pop realm ! Many have coined the genre "jazz pop " Should be a great next decade for our barefoot princess for sure !

Everything about Angelina radiates love in it's purest form and our hearts recognize it when it hears Angelina sing and it opens it's door to let her love in. Once there it will never leave. She has been making a variety of appearances around the world, releasing original material and continues to cover classic songs of yesteryear like no one else can. Although her popularity has been growing by leaps and bounds she still hasn't been officially promoted and introduced to the world. All of that is about to change and soon thereafter everyone in the world will know who Angelina Jordan is. I am so happy for those who haven't discovered her yet because, when they do, do we expect them to act any differently than we have?

Wow, great reaction guys! You guys definitely get it. What’s cool is that these lyrics CAN be taken many ways. Presumably Angelina is not talking about a person but love itself. On the other hand it was written to appeal to those who project their own “loves” into the song’s lyrics. Brilliantly written. Great analysis. 🫶💛🖤👣

Great reaction guys. You commented a lot about the lyrics. Angelina has been receiving a lot of praise about the lyrics on this EP. Her grandmother was a child prodigy artist and poet so Angelina probably inherited her ability with words from her. Angelina has said that her lyrics come from her journals that she has been writing in since she was a little girl.
