i've been a proud member of the wolfpack since their inception in late 2016 and having read thousands of comments i can't ever recall any of LOVEBITES fans being vicious. just the opposite - we are very proud of these ladies and relish the thought of introducing them to unsuspecting reactors. 99% of the first time reactors love them right out of the gate. of course there are always a few that say " well it's not my type of music" or " this is not what i normally listen to" . they can be excused because if they've only heard one song to judge them by they just don't realize how many genres the band touches. you NEED to hear more and you will be blown away time after time

Elite musicianship. In terms of pure musicianship, LOVEBITES are probably one of the top three metal bands on the planet. It's criminal that they aren't better known.

This song was composed by former bassist Miho, and the song was described by her as thrash metal with some Arabic elements. They often use this as their opening track of their Live set list, as it helps them to focuses their senses.

I understand your comment on the vocals. Asami's sings in English, but she has a strong Japanese accent and imperfect English enunciation. When I first heard her sing, quite frankly, I wasn't a fan. But the more I listened to them, the more I grew to love Asami's vocals. Now, I can't even imagine LOVEBITES with a different vocalist. Her singing style is definitely more like Bruce Dickinson / Rob Halford, than the raspier deeper vocalists. It purely comes down to personal taste, but for me, the clean vocals with loads of vibrato suit me just fine. But I also do like Till Lindemann and James Hetfield as well. It's really only the cookie monster vocals that I tend to not like. Never heard the fans were vicious. Passionate, yes, For good reason. Japanese metal is on an incredible roll, especially the women, who are kicking ass on an epic scale. Another great band you should check out, if you haven’t already, is Bridear. Founded in 2011, they were in the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands. They have the classic twin-lead attack and technical rhythm section. Their tiny bassist even growls at key moments. They’re scheduled to release their new album “Born Again” on June 28, and it’s a banger. They have gone through some changes but have always kept their hard, heavy, technical sound. Lets see, what can I guess you will like better. NOTE - I understood that you liked it but the singing style was not your thing. NOTE - there is no growling anywhere in their repertoar. Maybe you like Painkiller? They have done a fantastic cover of that one. Asami then sings higher and fiercer to emulate Rob Halford. Maybe you like something more sassy and bluesy? The have a song "Dancing with the devil" that is very delicious IMHO. Maybe you like it more trash? Then I recommend "Set the world on fire" or maybe "Break the wall". Maybe you like a very epic ballad that also have some metal? One of their best IMHO. Then take a look at "A frozen serenade". Maybe you like the fastest they have made? Then "Soldiers stand solitarily" is the one I recommend.

Your favorites are male, ASAMI is great FEMALE singer, much much more better then them. I like Hetfield but ASAMI is another league-type of singing. They (she is) are perfection, much more then others that you like.

I liked most of what you said, until you made the critical error of comparing Haruna to Lars Ulrich. I'm gonna need you to go to your local church, or temple, or synogague or shrine. any pray forgiveness from any god that will listen, then bathe in essential oils, or light incense, or whatever you need to do to cleanse your soul of that stain. On her worst day, Haruna is ten times the drummer that Lars has ever been on his best day. She's a consummate time-keeoer, he couldn't keep time to save his own life. Lars is as clumsy as Keith Moon at his very drunkest, but with none of the skill. PS - Just joking, not being vicious, lol! On a more serious note, that quality you're hearing in Asami's vocal style isn't a hair metal influence, it is her background as an R&B singer. That's actually one of the things that makes them special, because it is a fresh and unique approach. She can sing in more traditional "metal" styles, and even asked her bandmates if they wanted her to do that, but there isn't much imagination in trying to sound like every other singer out there..
