What a unique show this is! Can't wait for them to expand the story in season 2!

Lol thank you. Don't know how I missed that. I went the entire show thinking it was county. Sounded better in my head I guess lol.

Cool review. I feel like the word play using the word Lovecraft to represent both the supernatural and racist themes was brilliant.

Very fitting and brilliant indeed. I had never heard of Lovecraftian horror until this show.

I watched this show... the Cast is good, you can get behind any of the characters which is kinda rare nowadays, however... there's no target to the whole story... what's the purpose for these quests and why... Imo, it needs a defined starting point and maybe a conclusion of sorts ( i don't know if it's gonna be a second season). There are some pretty creepy moments, but they are kinda "weightless". They are happening for the sake of what? I don't know what exactly they wanted to get with this story. It's kinda interesting and the cast is quiet invested , but the whole thing is forgettable.

Yeah I did feel like something was missing. I was so obsessed with the idea of it that I'm hopeful there is more to come. But, I agree, there were some episodes that seemed to be out of place or had scenes that weren't relevant that probably contributed to the overall feeling you have.

Like the entire bibliography of a literary genius didn't contain enough material to be put into film or series no, we had to go with the least talented of the authors that expanded the Lovecraft universe

I had no idea this type of horror had a name until this show! Lovecraftian horror seems fascinating! Maybe this will open up doors for people to more of those works to be brought from text to the screen medium!
