I love your comments on Gojira and feel the same way about them. They are amazingly humble and incredible live. Can't wait for everyone to get back out on the road!! Nice to see you back. I wondered what happened to you. Nightwish has become very important to me in the last several months and Tuomas' music has inspired me to restart my own piano playing. I hope to become really good again so I can feel the kinds of emotions I used to feel when I played well and composed. I also spend a lot of time discovering new music by watching reactors. I learn a lot and get a human connection at the same time.
Music definitely helped getting through this, even the sad kind when beautifully done, e.g. I "discovered" Oceans of Slumber, in all of its haunting, doomy goodness and that made me happy ))). Nightwish had a beautiful new album, so that definitely helped. Devin Townsend has been quite productive during the quarantine with several live and virtual shows and new live record, so that's very nice, especially with his penchant towards uplifting later in his career - nothing like Higher, Spirits Will Collide or an entire Transcendence or Empath at the end of a rough day)))
What has kept me sane during these times above all else is my faith in Christ as a Christian. Due to my faith in Him and NOT in MYSELF, I do not fear whatever may come--I embrace and endure it JOYFULLY, knowing that much GOOD will come of it. Be well, Muzit. God bless.
Hearing you talk about the atmosphere Gojira can create, and since you apparently need "happy" heavy music, I'd highly suggest you to take a listen at the band Deafheaven, some people call them "Hipster Black Metal" and in some sense they're kinda right ahah. Deafheaven is full of sadness, anger and melancholy like in your usual Black Metal band, which would be reminiscent of the climate we've been accustomed to this year, but also full of blissful happy moments and filled with hope for a better tomorrow. At least that's how I'd describe the experience of listening to their music, and I think you'd love them as well. The songs Dream House or Honeycombs comes to mind.

Good to have you back 👀💖what keeps me alive? Nightwish / Floor from a musical point of view. Always transports me to another place where I feel safe or out of this world for a few minutes. The new album Human Nature is symphonic metal at its best. Unfortunately the tour has been postponed. The december 2020 concert I got tickets for is now rescheduled to may2021. Other than this I love youtube reactions, so keep them coming; I remember yours to be very special and authentic. Stay safe.

I hear the 'Light Bearer' discography on repeat (2 EPs & 2 Albums), its a concept project only handling one theme in their lyrics, once I start with their first Ep I have to continue and listen to the rest.

Great selection of music. I've been listening to TesseracT and Periphery in the gym recently on repeat. As for the work music, Radio Paradise is amazing for work, I found so many new artists through them. As for the sane stuff... Nothing really changed for me, I actually don't mind less people on the streets. Gym closing was a bummer but I found a free outdoor gym nearby and actually made pretty good gains.
