That also says a lot about the groomer, too. She has probably groomed this beautiful sheltie before. The dog is comfortable with her. She doesn't act as if she has ever been pinch or hurt by her groomer. She stands still, and will feel better, afterwards.
It probably feels good to them. This is where the obedience command stand/stay comes in handy. Shelties just want to please us, they're such a happy and sweet breed. Plus they're fast learners. I think the slowest learning breed is the humankind!!!
Shelties require very little trimming unless for a professional show. Too much trimming can result in a generic looking dog rather than a Sheltie look.
