One thing that you do particularly well is call out instructions that you can follow without looking...a huge benefit when you're trying to follow along with a video. It's very frustrating when you constantly have to "break your asana" to see what's happening...so thank you for your clarity. ;)

Hi Jen, just found you whilst looking for low back pain yoga stretches, you do a short sequence on hip openers culminating in pigeon. I love this sequence and my low back and hips feel really relaxed after Thank you ❤ But my problem is my bent leg won't stay at a right angle, as soon as I push my straight leg back and push my hips forward the bent leg bends. I have osteoarthritis in my knees is this a problem for me to continue with this stretch? I'm going to look at more of your videos as I like the slow flow, it suits my body , Thank you again ❤

What would the world be without beautiful women learning yoga on RU-vid?... Not as good without it. ;) Yoga really helps when stressed out or in pain. Awesome. I have to do yoga every night before bed since watching. I had chronic insomnia and you have helped me so much. A question - is it better to do yoga after a little movement to warm up muscles or is that not necessary? Thanks
I have a question... when I have to lift my hips and bring my toes behind my head, how can I make it easier? My low back is really tight and I fear I could hurt myself, yet this is just the stretch I need... is there an "easy version"? (beside using my hands, which is not enough for me...) can I bend my knees? Thank you for your advice! :)
Indeed be careful…I'm 68 years "old" and had lower backspin, so I decided to come back at Jen Hilman… :-) Apparently you are not the only one with a problem about this exercise. Good to ask the question and think about it in advance ... !!!! I could easily do this exercise in the past. So I did it without thinking. And with the support of my hands I again succeeded very well in putting my toes on the floor behind my shoulders. But then ... I HAD TO COME BACK TO THE LYING POSTURE. That became a drama for my body. I have tried the exercise twice with the same result. I even got pretty injured. Hopefully my osteopath will improve this again. The rest of the exercises always help me very well. So thanks to Jen Hilman!
