This is for folkstyle and freestyle wrestling, but can also be used in BJJ. Made famous by Oklahoma State's coach John Smith and all the wrestlers from Oklahoma St. who still do it to this day, the low single is one of the most effective leg attacks from neutral or standing in wrestling.
This video shows an alternative finish for when your opponent stuffs your head to the inside and you can't get him on his hip. As soon as you can't get him on his hip, you want to immediately look for your back side finish.
You want to come out the back door and stay in good position the whole time. It also called going through the hole or out the backside. Keep your pressure into him, and make sure you tuck your ankles to avoid the funk roll.
