After breaking my hip I’m now back walking again. Yesterday I walked down through the public gardens and down to the beach, along the beach front , back up the chine and home. A good hour and a half’s walk in pleasant weather. On Tuesday I went to Iceland for 10% off pensioners discount and found 6 pints of milk for £1.09 and even that had 10% off! My salad greens, pea shoots, mung beans and celery are all growing well on windowsills. Thanks for your encouragement to do all these things. Pam

Your meals look lovely, we are so lucky having time on our hands to hunt down bargains, cook from scratch, I feel sorry for today’s young families, both parents working full time, no wonder so many take the easy way out and buy so much processed food, not all of them, but lots of them are exhausted and stressed with every day life, I’ve just got the last f my tomatoes in, gave some to my 95 year old neighbour who always stands and gives them a good sniff because she loves the smell of home grown tomatoes, big container of soup made,just need to make sauce and freeze the rest.

Now that the spouse is back home, my grocery bills are 4-5 times higher. I can't get by with just a sandwich, salad, soup, or a bowl of cereal. I have to make a restaurant style meal.😬 The fruit in that glass is so pretty. You have a real talent with plating food.👍 Have a fantastic weekend. 🤗🧡🍂

You have a good variety of healthy food, love the little bits you add. 1 blueberry 😂😂 ive had a terrible week writing to department of education and human rights commission about my daughters principal. She has designed an Indigenous student uniform and wont let patents input. I have huge concerns about the safety of it travelling home via a mall full of gangs. Im actually an ex art teacher and social worker specialising in Indigenous peoples and human rights. Im not sure what will happen but ive outlined the risks, including the voice to parliament referendum we are about to have. Ive made the risks, bullying, harassment, attacks, confrontation etc clear. They are now FORESEEABLE under tort law so kids can sue for negligence if something happens. That is all i can do to protect kids from the stupidity of this principal. There is too much positive discrimination for Indigenous peoples that fails to meet everyone elses rights. The best lesson to teach kids is thst they dont always get their way. So well see. On a different note, ive now decided that anything im buying, glasses, cups, vases, containers etc is now going to be vintage. They are useful, beautiful and maintain the purchase price over time. I find antique and vintage to be 100% better made and im also preserving history for my grandkids. Win win😅😅 2 ads today, temu and facebook. 😊😊Belinda
