I've named my Facebook Live events "Low Vision School". That fits with my purpose which is to educate people with impaired vision about what is available to help them see better. There's a lot available and I will explain the various low vision glasses and other devices and also tell you how to get help. Unfortunately, many people with macular degeneration, Stargardt Disease, diabetic retinopathy and other eye conditions are not aware that help is available. With these Low Vision School classes I am going to try to educate you about the ways that you may be helped. Today, I will describe some of the ways that people with low vision can be helped with reading. I hope you find this helpful. If you have a question just raise your hand or better yet give me a call.
