Well, it happens more than you think. But here is a great inexpensive fix for that lower lift arm ball. $20 vise $200! you can buy the welder for that amount! Amazon Lift Arm Repair: amzn.to/2Oa28sb Amazon 120VAC Welder: amzn.to/3t7O8hB
Thank you. For some reason welding has been extremely difficult for me to pick up. I have to watch a few more videos and get some more instruction but I don't know too many welders
I work for a agriculture equipment company. And I'd never cut the factory arm more than I had to. I would have just cut the swivel out of the new part and welded that.
Tell me how to fix this please: on my 4020 John Deere I was plowing when one pin came out of the 3 point hitch and the other pin stayed so the plow went sideways and pinched the other arm after getting the plow off the ball is now stuck and will not move because when the pin pinched it, it bent the medal just around the outside of the ball 🤦♂️😕
You could do a couple things. You could just buy a new lift arm. Or you could try to grind yours with an angle grinder and smooth it down enough to where it starts moving again or you buy a piece like I have in this video, cut yours off and weld on the new piece. That's all I can really think of.
