Jase just a heads up on the roof rack mate...ive got the exact same one its about 4 years old now. And ive had it off for the last few months to sand it all back, paint it with rust eating paint (forgot the name of the product haha) and spray painted it black again. It was pretty disappointing as its not covered by warranty (i checked with 4wdsupercentre). I had lived on the Gold Coast but dont do much beach driving. I think its just cheap steel that rusts easily. Anyway dont wanna be a dampener but something to watch out for! Love your videos mate you helped me out already with the Redarc gauge install and im onto Tillix install next! Also have a 2009 silver wagon same as you just not the beefy, bad boy 4" lift and muddies! ;) cheers.
Was looking for something totally different when I came across this, I hate how high my rack sits ... looks like another thing to modify ( the rack needs a respray anyway, so will shorten the legs while it is off )
Hey mate, yeah I reckon you could have. I’ve read that most people go as low as 40mm, but I didn’t want it to be too low on my vehicle - still wanted enough room to clean my roof 🤙
