Never a dull day she thought, smiling as her -favorite- knight greeted her. I mean-“ he clears his throat in his own fluster now, much to her amusement “ah-eh- from what I’ve heard I mean obviously I- uhm…” they both chuckled then “Be honest with me haha” she said, “yes your majesty, your word is my command… I do find you, to be… incredibly beautiful.” He replied, causing her to blush slightly more as he went on. That’s the kind of thing she wanted in a person, seeing her for more than just her outward beauty or status. “Is that because you trained them?” She asked with a slight smirk as the topic changed, his sputtering and sarcasm was quite funny. He was nothing if not humble though, despite the moments of bragging. Being convinced to, and starting to head with him to the kitchens, she had to smile to herself, she understood how he felt… ‘perhaps more than a knight should feel for his queen.’ And knowing that he wanted her to be taken care of and stay safe was such a sweet, caring thing. She was glad he was her knight… glad of his loyalty.. she knew full well how formidable he could be, if his many victories had anything to say about it. “Are you sure you don’t want to escort me just to try these new pastries?” She asked playfully as they made their way to the kitchens, joyful laughter accompanying them. She looked forward to spending this time with her knight.
