It's so exciting when there's a new Shawn Tubbs pedal demo, complete with intro piece! Lovely run from 1:23 to 1:27, culminating in a mean bend! (But the intro piece ending is cut short!) Pedal sounds great and has lots of useful features, I like the mirror-image symmetry of the knobs. Great demo.
Killer playing, and great demo (as always.) I honestly watch these more for entertainment than anything else. Just scooped up a used Alt T for a great price.. Definitely an inspiring instrument. Happy to see you rocking one!
A killer demo/playing as always Shawn!! I’ve been waiting for LPD to release this since I ordered my OG Eighty 7. Mine just showed up today and it’s such an amazing sounding pedal! Lawrence really knows how to make a killer pedal.
First: excellent playing as always Shawn. I love how you use the trem on Strats btw, kinda Beck-esque but your own thing. Second: I’ve been looking for the best JCM-in-a-box for a while now, hesitant to make a purchase because I knew something else would come out that would sound better/have more features I wanted/whatever. I can’t see anything sounding better or having a more robust feature set than this, it’s perfect. So fat & harmonically rich like the original with added flexibility. Sold.
There is so much ridiculously sweet gear out on the market now; I don't know how any vendor can stay in business, the competition is so good and unrelenting.
that right side sounds good for a rhythm to me, and maybe a boss eq pedal after it for a slight boost in some favorite fequencies....great vid man, thx
The non trivial problem is that Shawn could play a guitar constructed of rubber bands tightly strung across a cigar box and it would sound fcuking brilliant.
Having your own recognisable tone in the fingers is a blessing and a curse for demos, right. I always find the same with Mike Hermans. Having said that, it’s still cool to see Shawn show what can be done with a piece of gear in the right hands (his).
man ou got a lot of nice expensive guitars ~!!!! that white Suhr strat guitar i saw a lightly used one for $1600.00 same guitar is that a good deal ? thanks you make me want to get it because I ams so disappointing in some fender stuff being ok and some sounding like crap
@@ShawnTubbs me too! How are you controlling it. I got a Morningstar MC8 w their ML5 analog looper. Thinking of adding a used H9 Core to double the use.
If you’re looking for a loop-switcher, may I recommend the RJM PBC? Best MIDI implementation, and 4 built in line mixers - perfect for something like the H9, since it doesn‘t have an analog dry path! :)
