Nice work man. I'm building a 5.3L on my channel that I want to put a turbo on and look at putting it into a B8.5 A5. Are you still able to retain the AWD with the auto trans using 4L80e ? Or are you just using the rear wheels. Looking forward to how you solve the swap. Cheers 🍻
Thank you very much. I already got this thing running and driving last year with a 6-speed manual Audi Transmission, checkout my old videos. I removed the LS4 recently to replace the engine because I blew off an oil line during the test drive-fixing all the problems while I’m at it since it’s winter now.
Hey I plan on trying to do the same thing to my a4 b7 so what all did you have to do to make the stock transmission work or did you use a b8 transmission
Used the B8 transmission, custom adapter plate, custom flywheel, custom starter mount, custom motor mounts, custom transmission mount, custom front axles, modify subframe, modify shift linkage etc. watch some of my other videos-I’ve kind of touched on each component and how I’m going about making them. I do plan on selling components maybe this fall. Currently still waiting on the new adapter plate design to be manufactured at the moment.
