This is it... The time has come to fire up the E39 for the first time with a fire breathing 6.0L LQ4 with an LSA supercharger! There is a lot of tuning challenges that needed to be taken care of for this particular setup. I used HP Tuners to perform the segment swap to allow the flex fuel E85 and 4L80E transmission to work with my PCM.

Hi Pete . I enjoyed watching someone else do the same swap . Being a 6 cylinder car what are your plans for the rear differential ?

Eventually a Ford 8.8. But the axles are an issue. Custom axles are $1500-$2000.

@@PetesGarageandperformance Nice . i went with a 540i rear end its an open carrier so a Wavetrac carrier is in the future . Or if I get lucky and trip over a M5 diff !

Yeah a limited slip of some kind is definitely a necessity. What kind of power are you putting through your diff?

The motor is built to make 500hp at the crank .
