On todays helpful how to video I will be showing you how I changed my front crank timing cover seal in my LS engine which is a Lq9 but should be the same for any 5.3, 4.8, LS engines and more, if you are doing a camshaft swap on your LS engine always replace the front timing cover crank seal.

Thanks for another great video bub keep it coming and good luck with your superpower engine. I ment to add that when I did seals in housings like these I'd always use ten inches of bath towels to make sure when I'm tapping it's giving at the same time so the force don't cause housing to bend or anything else that can and allways will happen with certain kinds like these

While it works, I believe you have the press fitting backwards. The recessed portion should fit into the seal.

the recessed portion if fits inside seal can knock the seal spring out when installing

@@TattsForLife - every other video demonstrating the tool shows the recessed fitting inside the seal. I guess it doesn’t matter if it worked the other way.
