Walkaround video of car Got a couple of more videos on the channel of the car. Check them out. If yall have any questions on the build just leave a comment!!
Great job! Can't thank you enough for sharing your build. After reading the comments, (specifically about the small bore Chevy performance heads) I now figured out how to fit an lsa blower under my stock hood☺
Ls1_90_Camaro 0 thanks for the awsome comment. There's still much more I wanna do to this car. I installed rear bmr springs this past weekend so I'll be doing a video on that soon.
As a performance shop I don't dig the back end of it being lifted but other than that man you did really great with that catfish bro seriously I've been doing this over 25 years man super clean build if I can help you with anything to make it go faster let me know but as of right now man five stars and two thumbs up
Daniel's Speed and Performance the stock springs are still on the car which makes it taller also with a bigger tire in the rear. Check out the new video with the new wheel setup. Car dropped about 1/2 an inch in the back. Also need to swap exhaust so I can drop it
Hey man you have the cathedral to square port spacers on this correct? I have ls3 heads and using a ctsv lid to avoid cutting my cowl. Looks like it will be close. Would appreciate a reply thanks!
What does that super charger upgrade the KW output to? I’ve got an ss Holden ute in Australia.. it’s getting cam upgrade now and in a few months wanted to either supercharger or turbo it... not sure what’s going to be better performance wise
Sick build, didn't know the LSA blower would fit under there. I recall a mock-up with LS3 head, it fit but the valve was shrouded, basically zero clearance, didn't know there was rectangular port small bore head either.
Hmm, I have a 98 head cam intake stock bottom end Firebird that put down 441 at the wheels and runs 11.7 @ 119 mph, was told all this time the stock shortblock couldn't handle any more than 500 HP before bad things would happen so I was under the impression a Cammed, ported head, LT header supercharged stock shortblock was off limits because it would never live. So I've been planning a new bottom end build and have been holding off on the blower. What year is your Camaro? running 7PSI?
Hey bro awesome build! I have a 2000 Pontiac trans am with a fully forged 383 ls1 and I've been contemplating trying to fit that lsa blower under my hood as well. What all do you need to make that work?
Seth Van Egeren sorry for the late reply I just saw your comment. It can be done with the stock heads you just need the adapters. And of course the hoses with intercooler. And the LSA crank pulley
I have a 2005 Yukon with 5.3 that I am going to put a LSA Supercharger on and I was wondering about being able to use a LSA crank pulley, but wasn't for sure if it would work. Did you have to pin the pulley?
RICKY GRAY yes you have to use the lsa pulley because the blower snout. Yea i had to pin the crank due to it falling off cause of the stress that was being applied to it.
love the car man but get ground effects for the rest of the car. I have them on mine and it looks 1000x better with them. it adds a small lip to the back wing
I am considering doing this to my WS6. instead of changing the heads I will get a ls1>lsa adapter to put the supercharger on. And I guess I need a zl1/ctsv fuel rail but Ive been holding it off because there arent many write ups on this install and Im no real mechanic
Must be fast as fuk. 10s all day right? My cousin has a cadi ctsv tuned and pulleyd with long tubes. Ran 11.3 @124 on a dragy on a slick rd. Can't imagine this fbody... Awesome setup 👍
Hi Jon, I tried bolting on my LSA sc today but there is a small tube on the bottom driver side of the sc keeping it from bolting on correctly. Looks like tgere should be a place on the drivers side head for it to go into but theres not, did you have any issue with this, any help is appreciated thank you.
not really sure on that one. I originally bought the car already built so I never had to do the research to build it myself. Just the research to make the future upgrades...
@@joncantu7633 wow that’s surprising that’s good tho I’m rebuilding my motor right now.. gonna have 243 LS heads .600 lift Texas speed cam and push rods slp ram air intake true LS headers and dual exhaust steel forged crank and forged flat top pistons balanced bottom end bored .7 over
Contact jokerz performance in Chicago about a bigger belt setup Id actually go with a 12 rib dedicated blower drive setup then you won't have belt slip.
Seth Van Egeren right now I'm at 9psi. But it will go to 14 or 15 with a pulley swap. The passenger wiper on the cowl area had to be cut to make room for the blower
Seth Van Egeren I might leave something out since I bought the car already built but mostly it's the blower with the hoses, and intercooler with fans. Also the drive system is an ls3 kit. Forgot to put it in the video but the cooler and fans are behind the front grille
You forgot to say, it has T-tops, leather seats, gray carpet, cold A/C, bro you trying to sell it or show it off? How much you want so I can do a video show of it doing some moth F*** burn outs and some races with it out in “Mexico”
