Finally got my Trans Am tuned last weekend. Ended up making 805/748 rwhp/tq at 15lbs. It is a built LS3 with Jokerz Performance cnc ported LS3 heads and LSA Supercharger, 102mm TB, 5" intake. 2.35/8.66 pulley combo making 15lbs boost. BTR Stage IV PDS cam, BTR spring, pushrods, Johnson 2116 link bar lifters, McLeod RXT 1200 clutch. E85 fuel system, Fuel Injector Development 1300cc injectors, CHRS1313 dual walbro 450 fuel pumps, Aeromotive FPR and fuel filter, Fragola -8an feed and -6an return lines.

Very similar to my old lsa TA. Mine made 760rwhp 750rwtq on a sbe 6.0 stock blower none ported. Love this build btw

How many psi are you running & what compression

Thanks, it's been a fun build. I remember seeing pics of your old car before on Instagram. That's some good power to not be ported. There is some left on the table with mine but I'll have to change out the lower. If I stepped up to a 9.17 or 9.55 it would pick up a few lbs but at that point the blower would be making getting hot quick.

THANKS FOR THE ENGINE INFO. I was stuck between the 408 and Ls3 ( 416) with CNC Ported and polished heads and Cam with the LSA . Decision made! THANKS A LOT

With using the factory CTSV LSA accessory drive, I got a pump fitting from Turn One that went to a -6 an fitting and also the rack & pinion feed fitting from turn one. I had a local Carquest make me a hydraulic hose to fit with two 45* fittings. You could just use a AN power steering hose kit.

I was using a standard UMI LS1 kmember. I used some 3/4" aluminum spacers to drop the kmember down some for more clearance.

6.0 won’t work a ls3 can be stroked to a 416

Sorry for the noob question but what size is the stock lsa blower? I’m not too familiar on those engines

They are a 1.9L blower. Smaller than the 2300 that comes on the C6 ZR1.

I'm running the factory CTS-V LSA front drive setup. I went that route to have a dedicated blower belt.

I wasn't. I did relocate the passenger arm over towards the driver side but never finished up the linkage for it. If I ever get around to doing that, I'm sure the wipers will be working again.

I kept mine wiper on pass side but I'm using a DSX LS9 lid.I modified the hell out of that linkage arm.works great

I used the stock 99 Trans Am pcm and harness. I used a 24x reluctor wheel on the LS3 crankshaft and relocated the stock LS1 knock sensors to the side of the block.

It's right around 10.4:1 and making 15psi

@@lsa_transamws6943 wow thats still pretty high. Guys are telling 9 thru 9.5:1 if I want to run 10-12lbs... stock I think its at 10.9

There are several guys running these blowers at 15-16lbs on a stock LS3 which is close to 11:1 compression. I'd go with it, even at lower boost you'll be making more power due to the increased compression. Just need a good tune on it.

@@ericperry4934 hey barley saw this sorry. There are several pulley charts online if you search. I don’t think 25 psi is possible on a factory LSA. Probably need to look at turbos or a bigger blower.
