Luanshya Mine starts second phase dewatering 

China Non-Ferrous Mining Cooperation CNMC Luanshya Copper Mines has launched it's second pump as part of preparations for commencement of the dewatering process of 28 Shaft which has been waterlogged for over 20 years .
Information and Media Director Spokesperson HENRY KAPATA has visited the mine to check on progress of the ongoing testing of supporting infrastructure in the process.
Mr KAPATA is optimistic that the dewatering process will contribute towards electricity generation , and job creation among other prospects.
