Good idea to have the Lucus mixed well with the gas in the tank. I've used it for 5 years and never fill up without putting a bottle in the tank. I have never had clogged fuel injectors or and other problems. It WORKS !!
@@Hungariankrisyour chances are lower with product, that’s all. It is also a lubricators too, so putting in your car helps regardless what your intentions are.
Here's all I know... I use it in all my vehicles now. Only because it has proved itself to be better than anything I have used in the past. That being said, here is why. I own a 2000 Kawasaki Voyager. It has 4 carbs with tiny jets. Since they started selling only fuel with ethanol in it here in Texas, every spring I had to pull all those carbs and rebuild them. That was even after using ethanol formula stabilizer. I tried the Lucas injector cleaner in the motorcycle three years ago. I add a bit to every tank full now. Haven't touched the carbs on my bike since. It sits all winter and still starts right up in the spring! LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!
Injectors aren't designed to receive a constant 12v supply. They pulsate to avoid burning out the solenoid within them. If anyone tries this method at home, be sure to pulsate the voltage going to the injector.
Cars are drove extreme periods of time with the injector spraying as fast as you can blink over and over thats why i can easily run all of these injector test with no problems. I was concerned the first video but then i thought of what a car deals with and the heat of the engine. But this is for test only.
@Eze&Yare Dominguez hm, so you're saying the cars couple hundred of degrees Fahrenheit is different then an open set up thats less the 100 degree Fahrenheit?
Thank you for pointing that out I thought about that myself. I’ve used this product and it works pretty well I’ve noticed a difference in my car every time I use it.
Wooowwwwww!!!!! Underrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please NEVER stop making videos like this... This is too helpful with finding the right product!!! You deserve a lot for what you're doing!
I use this product in my 6.4 Powerstroke after every fill-up... There is a noticeable difference since I began using it. I love this product and would recommend it to anyone.
I keep some Lucas and Sta-Bil in my mower and pressure washer gas can and I’ve only given the mower one tune up in 10yrs. Great stuff! The rest goes in my 2007 Acura TL Type-S and it always runs like a new car, quiet smooth power. Nice review.
It always starts that way but over time the product leave deposits that don’t burn off. So for sure you’ll be fouling spark plugs prematurely and plugging up your injectors. I’ve stop using it because of this and switched to Redline.
The temperature in the motor also plays an important role. You can remove the dirty nozzles from the machine, show before, pour into the tank and show after! But it certainly takes a lot of time! In any case, your videos are great! This tool, as I understand it for regular use, also provides lubrication! Check also lucas deep clean fuel system cleaner
This particular product is more for keeping the system clean and lubricating the injectors and upper cylinder components. It does increase milage as well. For fouled injectors I've used Lucas Deep Clean with noticeable success.
Great demo video, but you tortured that fuel injector by keeping constant power on it. I would like to say, Lucas gasoline treat does work, my 2015 Chevy Silverado developed a rough idle condition at normal operating temperature, after making several trips to the dealer, they couldn't diagnose the problem, so I threw in a couple of bottles of Lucas treatment and the problem went away within two weeks of daily driving!
I was scared to use this stuff but now ima try it after a head gasket repair. Did a lot of stuff that wasn’t necessary but just wanted to prolong my 98 mustang. Will try this because my fuel injectors are clogged. Haven’t been cleaned in 20 years. Don’t ask me how it ran because it was like poop.. hopefully everything I did will make it run smoother.. appreciate the video.
Dude just put this in 07 avaolon and its cleaned carbon off my tail pipes so I can attest this works . I put 3 bottles in my 97 civic ex and after the 3rd bottle over a few months I didn't have any hesitation in the throttle response. All the proof I need ya heard 👂
My check engine light had been on for almost a year and when I got it checked at an afterparts auto store; I got a whole bunch of codes. But my car was running the same way it had already been running, so I never bothered trying to go to a mechanic--it's been on its last leg and doesn't run great. Recently, since I needed three jump starts to get my car running, I decided to put in a new battery. What ended up happening is that my car would sometimes start and immediately turn off--I got all sorts of ideas of a possible defective battery, a bad starter, etc. I also thought it could be the fuel injector not getting enough gas for combustion, so I purchased the Lucas Oil injector cleaner. It took 50 miles or so, but I looked at my dashboard and the check engine light was gone. Not only that, my engine shows no signs of possibly dying when it's turned on. Now, I'll wait to see if the car ride any smoother.
Lucas does work, some people are more concerned about the mpg increase,(which is not the sole intended purpose of this product) i use this almost every tank full and also right before an inspection to pass emissions,(works like a charm) some people like to call it snake oil, and i can understand, cause you dont visually get to see it working, but from my personal experience, lucas oil works wonders and i always buy the gallon jug because i have 2 vehicles i use it on, also lucas oil does expire, so if you have any laying around that is between 3-5 years old, throw it away and get fresh stuff, you can tell by the smell, fresh lucas smells like light vinegar and oil, old lucas oil smells like a straight bottle of heavy vinegar and nothing else
I’m getting mixed answers on when to pour the bottle in the tank!!! Some people say pour it in with the tank on E then fill up! And some say fill the tank up then pour it in I’m lost!!!
I use it in my antique motorcycle for lubricant reasons and in my modern motorcycle with EFI on occasion. Figured it worked but thought it would take longer then your experiment.
I bought a 2015 Hyundai Elantra at 67,595 miles and have been using Lucas since 69,128 miles. I use Lucas every 1,000 miles and it seems to be helping. I'm now at 71,780 miles.
I run 0w20 in my 2013 5.7 hemi Challenger and I used this product after my oil changed 1 day ago. And Yeah I can tell the difference from the way my car pulls off..I give it a 8 out of 10..👍🏾👍🏾
i put a bottle of lucas oil injector cleaner in my truck for a tank of 87 octane, definitely cut down on spark knock. seem to get a little bit better MPG as well
Had a cold start P0301(misfire on cylinder 1) on a 2003 Ford F150 with the 5.4 Triton engine. Replaced the spark plug. Still misfire. Replaced the coil pack. Still misfire. Figured it may be dirty injector or bad injector. Decided before replacing the injector I'd try this product. Ran a bottle through 2 tanks of gas. Misfire has never come back.
@@sherrodgee3075 Gauge was at a quarter tank. Poured the bottle in and filled. Used OBD scanner to erase the code (was probably the 5th or 6th time I erased it). Code returned once more before another refill and another bottle of the Lucas. After that erase, the code has never returned. Good luck! NOTE--I never let my tanks get below a quarter tank before filling them.
Thanks for doing this type of tests man! It'l help some of your viewers like me if you can have a reference video or at least images of a New injector spray pattern and a Remanufacturef injector spray pattern and an Ultrasonically cleaned injector s p. That way we can have a reference for comparison. Thanks a lot again. Regards
It might be good to run the fuel injector for same amount of time before and after, and then collect and measure the fuel that is ejected by each one. This will be more objective than just looking.
I disagree the second photo looked like it was letting more fuel out than the first. So it might’ve not gotten all the contaminant but it did improve it’s performance
How can you be so stupid to say it didnt work, obviously by looking at the exit point of the "after"injector the stream is not only wider but you cant see it as clearly, obviously a point of greater pressure escaping the injector,I'm no mechanic by all means but it isn't rocket science
@@romanrange9433 The real before & after is at the very beginning (dry cardboard behind) THEN... advance to the end and watch. That is a better comparison.
Thanks for the demo. Is there a way you can verify Lucas fuel treatment? By the way, I'm far from a tree-huggin' hippy freak but I sure hope you're not spraying gas directly into the ground? Hard to tell but if so, that's harsh.
I have to comment on that, always refueling with fuel FUEL TREATMENT - INJECTOR CLEANER - LUCAS OIL, when I went to change the engine gasket, the pistons and the exhaust valves were with a white crust, I just leave with sandpaper. what they say?
What they don't tell one is that it TAKES 10 GALLLONS OF THE CLEANER TO MAKE A DAMN BIT OF DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For my truck it did worked and I use two of those 1 before fill up the tank and the other one after fill up the tank..don't use two thought just 1 bottle
@@NATESINTERACTIVEAUTO i use it every oil change , Is improves milage, does good in motorcycles & lawnmowers that have been sitting also. Always keep some in the shop.
I've been using this stuff for 22 years sometimes at Walmart I see jugs sitting right next to each other with various colors always seems to work though
