This is a great collaboration between Home Free & The Oak Ridge Boys. "Elvira" was a huge hit for The Oakridge Boys in 1981. You can see the great respect these 2 groups have for each other. The Oakridge Boys are mentors to Home Free & it is like they are passing the baton to a younger version of themselves. They have performed together on the Grand Ole Opry. Adam Rupp's vocal percussion is the best in the business. He can simulate drums & any other sounds perfectly. Home Free is my favorite a cappella group. They are so talented yet very humble guys.

The 2nd base is Richard Sterban ... he sang backup for Elvis before he joined The Oak Ridge Boys ! The Oak Ridge Boys are iconic country gospel singers who represent the older generation ... they've been mentors for Home Free !

There is a depth and richness to Richard Sterban's voice that cuts right through the other singers. I can't wait until Tim has that kind of "seasoning" to his voice. He's already phenomenal, and from what I've read and heard, a bass gets better with age as long as they take care of their "instrument." In any case, these collaborations are pure gold!

This is one of those songs that you can't help but smile when listening to it. And to watch both groups having so much fun is just icing.

The person you didn't recognize was Chris Rupp co-founder of Home Free with his brother Adam Rupp. He left in 2016 to pursue a solo career & was replaced by Adam Chance.

Home Free is so good. Love them! I saw them in concert and Tim’s voice goes through you. They like to have a lot of fun in concert and Tim often goes really low and gets the audience involved. The Oak Ridge boys are so good and are kind of passing the torch to the boys. The man in the ball cap is Chris Rupp, brother of Adam Rupp (beatboxer). They both founded Home Free back in 2000. Chris left the band in 2016 and was replaced by Chance. So many good songs. For more bass try Helplessly Hoping, In the Blood, I Can’t Outrun You, Brothers in Arms. Enjoy!

Hi Lucie!! I just loved your entire reaction here, especially getting to hear those bass notes over and over ❤❤! Those 2 guys were super together, as were the Oak Ridge Boys and Home Free altogether ❣ What a gorgeous piece of amazing music they gave us here - I could listen over and over again! As you said, they make your day each time, and mine too, and your reaction is just superb 🥰🤗 Also, I do not think anyone anywhere could have topped Adam Rupp's beatboxing achievement with this song and these two groups - that was almost impossible to believe, except that we are watching a 2-time world champion grace us with his other-worldly talent 💕😍🥰🥰 Thank you so much for your work here, and all your comments and analysis - just excellent as usual ❤🥰🥰

This really gives me the sense of "Home Free Past" meeting "Oak Ridge Boys future". The ORB's bass, Richard Sterban, sang bass for Elvis Presley early in his career. Home Free definitely collaborated with true country legends on this song--and I LOVE this collaboration❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️

Love this cover and Tim Fousts the Home Free (bass) shout out to Geoff Castellucci VoicePlay (bass) & VoicePlay for this arrangement. Geoff Castellucci and Tim Foust are my two favorite bass singers.

Tim was just being very humble. When The Oak Ridge Boys asked Home Free to collaborate on this song with them, Tim borrowed the arrangement from Geoff but then he tweaked it to fit better for this version.
