Just look at the way Lucifer is sad, worried and yet happy at the same time. While the idea horrified him, he's now realizing that there's a chance to be a better father than God was to him. He saw the very pain he had in her eyes.
I LOVE how Dan's and Lucifer's relationship has changed so much in season 6! No more Detective Douche, no banter, no silly jokes...Lucifer finally treats Dan like an equal and tries to help him as much as he can.
the fact that dan's advice was actually rooted from his guilt. the guilt that's been keeping him from rising to heaven. the one thing he couldn't figure out, he was already familiar with it, he was just in denial.
There is a “Danny Phantom” joke or two to made with Season 6 of Lucifer, (if you remember the Nickelodeon show Danny Phantom, you’ll get it) but jokes aside, the fact that Dan Espinoza can’t go to either heaven or hell has to be torture enough for him.
I don't get how Lucifer can even bring a LIVING mortal to hell like in the episode before this but he can't bring a ghost? These rules don't make sense lol
So Chloe and Lucifer being together and sexually intimate created a demon angel with razor blades for wings that time travelled back to see Chloe and Lucifer.
Aren't the wings selfactualized because of the pain, anger and lonelyness she felt? Maybe she also wanted to have something to feel protected because she never had a father-figure in her life?
The more I think about it, the more I would've liked a scene after this episode with Rory apologizing to Dan for stranding him on Earth. If memory serves, she never actually got his name in 6x02, so it's conceivable she didn't know who he was, and she had bigger priorities at the end of 6x03 and the beginning of 6x04, when Lucifer called him "Daniel". But once she figured it out, I think she would've felt enormous guilt; Dan might not have been in her life, but she would've heard about him, and I have to believe it would've crushed her to know she hurt someone so important to her sister.
I think thats something that was missing from this cause even future trixie would have shown her sister a picture of her dad or chloe would have shown rory trixies dad, just seems like one of those plot holes in it
So this show opened my perspective on ghosts or “trapped souls”. The reason they are stuck on earth is because they can’t be taken to hell nor heaven because celestials can’t physical carry them because they are soul with no physical body. Explains why those ghost hunting shows always have a ghost expressing their suffering in the life before so they can figure out their guilt to be accepted into heaven.
It also shows why being a ghost is terrible. You can't touch anything, talk to anyone nor can you drink away the pain. You are just there and no one knows it.
And that's why Dan never deserved to be in hell, the guy was stuck like a ghost on earth and he's going to ask nothing more and nothing less than the devil for help and he couldn't help him. No matter what, when Lucifer told him he had a daughter Dan gave him some super advice from a father, he's a good guy Dan, I always liked his characte
That’s why many people say that Lucifer’s hell is unfair as fuck, you can be a good person but if you’re dealing with some guilt or remorse, it will take you to hell, just like when Michael killed Chloe, if she didn’t stop believing that what happened to Dan was her fault, she would’ve gone to hell.
So apparently Lucifer cant take Dan to heaven if he becomes God, Cant take him back to hell either, cant help him find out his guilt and cant even help Dan to get out of Le Mec's body.. So much for being a celestial...😑
I still think this would be much better if Rory really was daughter of some random woman. The whole time travel thing was the worst part of that season. It was like out of bad fanfiction
I dont get it. Lucifer doesn't lie but he told rory "I'm sorry but you cant be" as in saying cant be my daughter. Yet he just admitted that her eyes were familiar and says "shes my daughter" lol wtf
(this is just my way of thinking) I believe that he still tried to convince himself that she couldn‘t be his daughter and therefore believed it had to be true. So he doesn‘t lie he just thought it had to be true (sorry for explaining this so bad, english is not my first language)
