Lucifer RE- IMAGINED 

everything I did I did based off of biblical lore so this is basically my interpretation of the character Lucifer obviously everyone is aloud to have there own ideas about what they think he looks like but this is mine so please kept that in mind also sorry the intro is hella long

knowing his personality in the actual show, it would be very entertaining to see this lucifer act like such a boyfailure lmao

I love that you gave him a serious face expression rather than his og smile, as afterall, he was casted down, forced to live with sinners, is always disappointed with his daughter, and he’s ruler of hell. I never liked how almost every character (other than husk and vaggie) has a wide/ happy smile all the time

I love how you made the staff very simple, but still very pleasant to look at. It's not boring or overwhelming at all

I can see this man being in a dope ass manga version of hazbin hotel, I'd love to see this design in action 😭

My problem with Lucifier is that it always felt like Tumblr sexyman bait rather than an ACTUAL Lucifer character design Your design impressed me alot. I hope you mental health gets better and take your time (I have depression too, shit happens 💀💀)

I love his black asymetrical coat. I can tell Vivz loves her bow tie and suit. But now, it's just repettitive. Great work as usual !

The design feels better for his role as King of Hell and I really love the gold & black theme for evil characters, here it just makes him pop out against the red background, and now he just looks a little silly with the rubber ducks in his pose. I heard that Vivizepop wants Weird Al to voice him or someone similar, but I don't know if that's who is going to voice him.

personally an issue i keep finding with hazbin's designs is the lack of diverse body shapes? it's limiting and is a little hard to gather their personalities when their all so similar.

I LOVE your version of Lucifer. He looks way more commanding and intimidating. Just everything about it has improved the original and I'm honestly quite disappointed that it's not the real, canon version.

I don't think Lucifer's redesign is cliché considering most depict him as either Satan or a red-skinned Devil, here the Lucifer we see is a fallen angel who has become a demonic shadow of his former self, who's exile has tarnished his radiance and scarred his beauty.

Brooooo, Vivz' s Lucifer looks like he gets pegged by his wife, like a submissive little clown 😭😭😭😭😭 You elevated him to a level where i can envision him dominating the room by just being there and observing shit, a cold and distant Ceaser type of king, almost always half cloaked in shadow so that his eyes glow sinisterly. All the other princes would freeze and cower the moment Lucifer gets involved in the argument or even hear the noise of his heels on the marble flooring, just echoing as if something ominous is approaching. Seeing an upload from you really lifted my whole day, i wasn't expecting such a surprise! Really hope you are doing better now, you dont have to force an upload if you cannot, it makes your videos all the more special when they suddenly appear outta nowhere. Wish you all the best ^^

I really like how his Left hand is more demonic and different since in Christianity, being left handed is frowned upon.

Yeah I never really got why most depictions of Lucifer have him rocking a white suit... Now granted, I absolutely adored the heck out of Peter Stormare's portrayal of him in Constantine (I mean the dude really looked good in a white suit and so did Jared Padalecki) but still. A darker color pallet just seems way more appropriate for someone who's often described as evil in its purest form, so I absolutely love your take on him! Also I've had Biblical lore and such practically crammed down my throat since I was a kid and my dad still occasionally goes on long tirades and it's super annoying, so yeah, I understand completely

I like it. Your version of Lucifer is different and I really like your approach to change his appearance, especially his outfit. Looking forward to your redesign of the Vs. Maybe do a redesign or re-image of Lilith.

In general we can tell that Vivzie loves 2 things way too much: The color red Suits and top hats I didn’t mind Lucifer in the context of being Charlie’s dad, but I hated his design in the context of ‘oh yeah this is Satan btw’ 😂. Your design is flawless, a very dark and foreboding color palette with hints of darkened gold for regality, the striking golden eyes that look almost unnatural compared to other demons (which makes sense since he isn’t originally a demon himself), the pseudo angelic crown, his simplistic yet pleasant looking staff that still eludes to the story of Eden (instead of that goofy ass top hat) the burnt arm, MMM. My favorite design of yours so far next to the Stolas family redesigns. Well done

It’s absolutely okay that you’re not uploading regularly. It doesn’t make your uploads less special, nono, I find that I appreciate them more because you put a lot of work into them and the period between them varies. Okay Lucifer with darker colors?? Such a great idea(the use of red and mainly white on Viv's designs kinda seems off to me) and I love the biblical inspiration for him, would love to see how you do with the next redesigns(and I hope your mental health is getting better no pressure!)

Despite being a Christian, I actually really like this design because it's so freaking accurate and Vivziepop's just looks like a normal, almost human ringleader in my opinion. Your version however looks like the actual prince of darkness. He just screams "I'm the wicked ruler of this dangerous place" or something like that. And as for the part about having recurring depression, I completely understand that and I know how it can affect your life. Whenever that stuff pops up don't worry about what others think. You just focus on yourself and take your time in posting videos. Take care of yourself. I hope I don't offend or upset you by saying this but I'll be praying for you. 💕 P. S. I like your idea for the circus theming around the hotel cuz it can also emphasize how much of a joke the rest of Hell thinks this whole business is also it was very common in the old days of circus to have a freak Show so with Nifty being so small she could be the little person and Cherry is the pyrotechnic

I love your version of Lucifer! He looks so dignified and powerful and *old.* Like your design actually gives me the impression that he's ancient. Viv's design is fine and I also have no big issues with it. But my main (and really only) gripe with her version was that I always figured Lucifer should be... you know, intimidating? And I'm just not getting that vibe from the HH design. I get she's doing her own thing and that's cool, but he just feels kinda underwhelming to me. 😕 Also I agree that he looks more like Charlie's sibling. I get demons and other supernatural beings wouldn't age like humans so ofc Lucifer would still look kinda young-ish, but from a design standpoint it just doesn't work if you want me to believe the 2 of them were father and daughter. Hell I would've immediately assumed they were siblings if I didn't know anything about HH. Great vid as always! Can't wait for the next redesign! 👍🏾

I can one hundred percent see him as the one who was the most beautiful among all angels, even after the fall. And his mane. *Cheff's kiss* I like Vivzie's design for the porcelain doll inspiration, because... well, they're made to look all beautiful and delicate, but your design took the 'prideful beauty' part of the lore and run with it. He looks absolutely gorgeous, and the red mane was just wonderful.

While I don't have any beef with Viziespops(I know i didn't spell that right but I'm to lazy to check how it's spelt)Lucifer, I think it's simple but in a good way and has it's own menacing type of aura, but now I REALLY wish your version of Lucifer was the one that's going to be in the show! Though, as a side thought, I wonder how Charlie would look, if she had features more like you version of Lucifer.. honestly, I think she'd rock the diluted-dust red hair.

Before watching the video, I've seen the other post on Twitter your take on Lucifer and seeing his hair red made me think about how Charlie back then used to be a red-headed character. It's not an important detail, but kinda thought it was coincidental a funny detail to notice.

(Just me coming back here to comment after the canon HH Lucy dropped, hi) The fact the ducks are still there in the background is hilarious tho 😂 Like, imagine. This reimagined Lucifer, but he often cracks dad jokes in front of his daughter to look cool. And still is the loving, trying-his-damn-best parent his canon HH version is (well since the Dad Beat Dad ep anyway cuz depression is not funny) cuz that’d be sweet, no kidding. Prepare yourself for the long rant (I tend to ramble, sorry 😂😂) I can also imagine him with depression because he is NOT happy to be where he’s at. The way I see it, both the canon biblical lore (probably) and the HH lore are prone to giving depression. Like, imagine your own father loves another, younger child of his more and literally commands you to obey said child. I can perfectly imagine your version going like “What?! Why?! Where did I go wrong?!” and start what God sees as a rebellion because he wanted answers (and perhaps for God to notice him again too, perhaps?). And end up dumped in a pitch, having to deal with what made him envious to the point of doing what he did. Yeah, no, I can imagine the trauma and the constant “Where was I not enough?” he drowns himself in everyday. That- that’d probably go with the pattern the more… not-inherently-a-bad-thing Deadly Sins have going on. Also your Lucifer has burnt black feathery wings and is insanely insecure about them and I will die on that hill. I’m- I’m sorry, I just can’t remove that image from my head 😂 No, like, imagine. The Sin of PRIDE, insecure about a part of himself! I was actually very disappointed in Viv's Lucifer as you stated before, just looks like a ringleader. I love your style as it brings out what the bible and artists have depicted on what he would have looked like. 100/10

Personally with the official design I believe the only other reason to give him that kind of smile, besides being a Tumblr Sexyman, is to have a smile off with Alastor. Since Al perceives always wearing a smile to be a dominance thing.

This is so cool! And the fact you researched to make him biblical accurate makes me so happy! Also I'm still laughing when someone got mad and replied in my comment on your post because I said that the official Hazbin Hotel design for Lucifer looks like another background character in the show. Like all you have to do is take away the apples and the few seconds in the pilot where it shows Charlie's family painting and people wouldn't have known it was him.

Gosh I love Lilith's design, she truly looks like someone with the tittle of "Mother of all demons", a very Mother is Mothering type of character. Also I like how different Charlie looks from the rest of her family, probably because she has a more candy red instead of the more crimson her mom has, even her softer ears and yellow sclera makes her look more different and friendly.

Idk why, but if the Hazbin Hotel main cast was made to be a metaphorical circus, then I think Niffty would be the lion tamer and Cherri would be a fire breather and/or a stuntwoman, using her bombs

As an artist with ADHD, I totally relate to the intro... Don't feel bad about missing uploads! Mental health just sucks sometimes, and that's completely okay. P.S. Yours feels like what Lucifer is supposed to feel like, tempting, good looking, but with vile motivs and a certain evil that you can't pin point cause everything else is pointing at the other direction, also after looking at Lucifer's Og design, can't help but see him as a genderbent evil Charlie

He's gorgeous, and I'm loving the pallet as well. He truly stands out amongst the washes of red. Wonderful use of the gold too. The apple and snake theming is really nice too. Its not a candy apple on a stick anymore. I'm glad you with the biblical themes as inspiration, it has a lot to be inspired by. One thing that confuses me about the world viv made is how the demons age. You have some that age like humans do than you have ones that age slowly like mythological demons typically do. But this changes from character to character. Do demons stop aging or slow down eventually? Is lucifer hundreds of years old or is he just a few decades older than his daughter? Stolas and his kid are rather close being that they are still in their decades. Do you see where I'm coming from with this?

I don't know why, but the biggest issue for me was that Lucifer wasn't a red head as I was always told that in the Bible the best way to spot a traitor is if they have red hair. So the blonde just felt out of place to me. The bowtie looks like it's just attached to his because his undershirt is the same color as his skin. It also felt like Lilith and Lucifer looked too similar to me, to the point where I assumed they were siblings at first.

I'm also surprised you didn't mention the incident where the church commissioned a guy to make them a statue of Lucifer but he made him too hot so they then commissioned his brother who proceeded to make it even hotter one 😁 but anyway if you take a break, you take a break. and I'm sure everyone in your community will understand why as I'm sure plenty of people also go through some of those episodes where they just don't want to do anything ( my family for the past few days have been trying real hard to pull us out of are depressive state) but anyway amazing video and are as always, and I hope you have a very merry Christmas or whatever holiday you celebrate if you don't celebrate Christmas.
