@@ChaplainDaveSparks they need to a spin off with Rory, Linda, amenidal, Chloe, and Lucifer. Some baddies and some humor with a directive team for 2 seasons with a 15 count episode all 30mins on Netflix.
@@DeathByLego he knew he did there is very clear self doubt written into his character. Which makes the struggle more real and natural. I grew up without my father. So there's a part of you that wonders if it's genetic. I feel him
Oh no 🤣🤣🤣 If seriously, it's actually not. First dagger was used to make bullets in the angel war, but I think they were shot all. Second dagger is still with Maze. And this pistol isn't modern, it's from Lucifer's collection, so the bullets it contains are totally human weapons
That was actually my first thought but no..this was actually lucifer making himself vulnerable and some ppl think this is unimportant but without this realisation that lucifer can consciously make himself vulnerable chloe and lucifer might have never been able to have aurora since lucifer wouldn’t know he could do that..and thus if aurora had not gone back in time and shot him..she wouldn’t be born..this is why it was important for aurora to hate lucifer at the beginning
"Ahaha I think she's got you theremove aside please, I am your farther and I demand that you shoot me" then the crazy laugh right before he collapses is brilliant and then his crazy laughing just cause he was right is just the icing on the cake I love Tom Ellis and megasonic T.W. these two are just soooooooooo freaking funny together
He also had freud’s notes, a horse received from napoleon and so on, so yeah, must be a famous person s gun. The fact it was loaded, makes it even crazier, sure he s invulnerable, but still.
@@Isabellediaz112 Come ooon, she doesn't even cry or get angry realistically. No depth of emotion whatsoever, it's the storyline that provokes emotion to the viewer.
@@Curlyteacher537 Interesting thought, but ... It brings up the question of how you define _"reality"_ on an _"alternate reality"_ genre show. By that I mean, the _"penetration"_ line was actually *IMPROVISED* by Tom Ellis and wasn't in the actual script. So, is it _"reality"_ because the director decided to leave it in? Or, for that matter, are deleted scenes still _"reality"?_ Yeah, I know -- don't overthink it. It's only a TV show ... It is interesting how attached Chloe was to the necklace when a very jealous -Cain- __ insisted that she remove it. She tried to play it off as just a joke, but that was her rationale as to why she should be allowed to keep wearing it. And then there is what Chloe said to -Michael- __ about it, too.
@@ChaplainDaveSparks Improvised lines that are kept/used in any show or TV are definitely valid, canon “reality”. They are simply lined put in/tried out by the actors rather than the writers during the flexible production time that director thought was a good addition or change to the story. Not everything is thought of when the script is being written, the production is a living breathing flexible collection of moving parts that turns words, thoughts, and ideas into a complete, finished work of art.

@@Curlyteacher537 _"Canon reality"_ -- that's precisely the concept I was searching for. It's sort of analogous to the real world, except God is replaced by the writers, and, in this case, the producer and/or director. I wonder if that concept carries over to deleted scenes as well? One of the most touching is in Season 2 where Chloe, her mom Penelope, and Trixie are discussing Chloe and Lucifer. Trixie conveniently leaves the room and the two women discuss the circumstances of Chloe's birth. Was it deleted to remove the concept from the overall plot, or simply to conform to the time constraints of a broadcast TV episode?
He did not have to be hit by a bullet to prove he felt something for her though. That whole shoot me thing was about him proving he was immortal. The whole vulnerability and feelings thing came later as a side effect.
Y'all're gonna hate me for this, but as a gun nerd, I have to nitpick this. As a watcher of the show I love this scene and the character development. - flash from shot is obviously edited in. A Colt Navy/Dragoon would've made a massive flash due to the use of black powder (unless it's a later model, in which case it probably uses smokeless powder) - Lucifer keeps a loaded revolver on display because? - Lucifer is screwed if they don't get him immediate attention. The chances that the shot hit a major blood vessel is very high. The legs are stuffed with arteries and veins.
Point of order, look at how long that cylinder is, I think that might be a Walker. Same bullet as a Dragoon, but potentially a LOT more black powder. But if it is a Walker, then that room should have been basically pure smoke, because 60 grains of black powder tend to smoke up a room pretty quick. Also, I have yet to hear of a cap and ball revolver ever being made to fire smokeless, have you? I might have missed that episode of Forgotten Weapons.
Bro he’s not human lmao, who are you to say he has veins and arteries in his legs at all? He can make himself invulnerable or vulnerable as he wishes. So he healed himself promptly after. And he’s the devil, why do you care about him keeping a loaded revolver on display? His house is literally above the club he owns
I'm not a gun nerd but.. - Lucifer probably keeps a loaded gun on display cos its Lucifer. Its not like it would usually do anything to him. - his point was to prove he could be vulnerable to her because he cared, not for him to die. So although he was able to consciously make himself vulnerable he might of subconsciously controlled how much, causing him to be wounded but not fatality.
Not gonna debate the type of gun or what was edited, but why keep a loaded gun? Well, it is crazy, but it’s Lucifer… and let’s not forget he s invulnerable, so if anyone else would shoot, it would just bounce off of him, I guess that’s why it was loaded. And in a more realistic reason, cause the show is timed and we cant wait for him to search the required stuff to fill it etc etc
I havent watched the show yet but will do so soon, isnt he is still a bit more durable than a normal human and arent the blood vessels possibly different in him because he isnt quite human?
Nah it was justified since she thought her father abandoned her..i mean that’s practically what lucifer did to his father but of an even more catastrophic scale
Not technically since he realized that he used to choose to be vulnerable around her. Remember when Dan shot him through the glass table after Michael told Dan who he was, the bullet did nothing to him and Chloe was there then too. So he can now actually choose when to make himself vulnerable enough to bleed.
@@nikiahc4175 By that teory he could choose to be vulnerable with Cloe and we are back at the fact that this don´t prove anything? I´m sure in the serie he did show his daughter but could still have done it just for Cloe
@@The.4nimaL the point is that this is the moment lucifer achieves absolute agreement between his conscious and subconscious mind and it is the epitome of his growth as an angel..before this it would happen subconsciously and lucifer would not know about it..later lucifer lost this ability because he was in doubts that he was worthy of chloe and finally in this scene he controls his vulnerability willingly..this was necessary cus without this realisation lucifer and chloe would never be able to have aurora and lucifer would not be able to bring his wings out in that episode
Ironically, you’re saying bad writing… And on topic, this was after he found out why he was vulnerable and how to control it, which is exactly what he shows here. Chloe close by or not, he s the one choosing to be vulnerable.
That changed in season 5 he figured out he was doing to himself so it was never Chole that made him vulnerable. So he is only vulnerable when he chooses now.
