I doubt Nintendo would do that, as maybe they would want to keep the challenge for returning players. Who knows, there may even be an easy mode for new, in-experienced, players. 😄

Yeah, me too! I think ScareScraper would be the longest task to do, though, because you’d have to collect all the special ghosts. I managed to get my last special ghost on the 3DS version of LM2 1 hour before the Nintendo Network got shutdown forever. 1 hour! 😃

Me too! A few nice additions would be great! I did see on the eShop one time that said this game has in-app purchases. Maybe that could be related, but my best guess would be some sort of multiplayer pack for ScareScraper, just like they did with Luigi's Mansion 3.

@@RGXthe2nd Indeed. I believe Nintendo have made the game even better than it used to be, with re-done animations and a plethora of new textures and icons. This is one of the best ports from Nintendo, and its development stages are discernible through the many versions of cutscenes from its reveal to its most recent trailer. An example would be the greenie in sunglasses jump scaring Luigi in Mission A-4: Visual Tricks. 🙂

@@JackSnacksOnBigMacs actually the animations weren't remade from scratch. They were just upgraded a bit like with some animations luigi now opens his mouth when talking in stuff like mission 2-A and the 1st cutscene in the game

I know, the graphics look pretty good! But I guarantee it’ll look so much better on the Switch successor, if updating graphics of old games through the new processors are possible.

I understand what you mean, but I think Nintendo just want to keep that specific art style. Luigi’s Mansion 2 looks more sharp with its art, however Luigi’s Mansion 3 looks rather soft, especially with some of those wallpaper designs. Also, Luigi looks really squishy in that game! 😆

I doubt they’d do that. Honestly, I think the mission structure was an incredible idea for Luigi’s Mansion 2. There’s something about the game that makes the mission structure link so perfectly, and I think the game wouldn’t feel right at all without it. It also helps with how there’s so many things going on in the game. It just wouldn’t be practical if players could freely roam. That could cause some sequence breaks. And, hey, they might even go back to the mission structure for Luigi’s Mansion 4, and return to free roaming for Luigi’s Mansion 5, and repeat the pattern.
