Go ahead and put down Luka for 4 chips, 4 MVPs, and 4 Finals MVPs and for Skip to deny his skill and talent. Just fyi, Skip Bayless thinks the Clippers are a championship team and Kawhi is a "Jordanesque" player, however, he also thinks that Luka isn't that good but this 22 year old kid just took that championship team and "Jordanesque" player to 7 games virtually by himself. Yet Skip claims he's not that good. 🤷🏽‍♂️ That's Skip's logic.

Luka shoots 38% on threes with a high difficulty (9 per game) Skip: He is on a hot streak he can't shoot that consistently. Zion shoots 38% on wide open threes with 0.5 attempts per game. Skip: HE IS LETHAL!!!!!

Here's the difference: Zion still feels like a rookie, while Luka feels like a veteran. You can easily forget that Luka's is young and often compare him to the veterans instead. He isn't as good as Lebron yet, but Lebron wouldn't be embarrassed to lose a game or two against Luka every now and again. Luka somehow became a made man within 2 years. Zion is still proving himself. Zion might catch up, but potential isn't the same as being proven.

The progress is only limited by the body slowing down at some point. Luka can still get a lot better. Dont be surprised if he is averaging 32 10 10 on 40% from 3 and 50% from the field in his prime

@@fk4410 My fellow comment section friend, playing pro ball @16 is a very special thing indeed because you start unlocking your potential at a very young age, learning how far you can push your body before it breaks etc. I say lets revisit this in 2024 when Zion has unlocked more of his potential and learns how to push his body to its limits. Also I say Luka is a better player at year 6 and will be for the next 4 years but Zion is showing higher potential at year 2

for me magic Shaq, though to a lower degree since shaq is taller and bigger no matter how beast he is in the paint, he will need a great teamates unlike a great Pg Sg or Sf, a decent frontcourts will do

@@marquisblakemore8468 Yeah, but that's the point. Luka pretty much carries his team, while Zion does not right now. Zion going to the Clippers would make him a #2 or #3. They would definitely win a ton of games but that doesn't elevate Zion necessarily. He's a sidekick in that scenario. Zion might one day be better than Luka but that day ain't here yet.

When it comes to LeBron, Skip disregards his stats in the clutch and say LeBron is not a clutch player even though statistically he is one of the clutchest players in NBA History. But when it comes to Luka he wants to bring up his stats in the clutch to prove he's not a clutch player...make it make sense, Skip!
