I love this. Luke gave us a type of closure the show never did (and something the spinoff completely ruined). It should have always been Brenda & Dylan. I can't stop watching this. ♥
He (Luke) might be guilty all those years, Luke telling the producers to change hes heart with the blond. It was the biggest mistake for me as a fan to break up D/B. Dylan can go with other flings, but your Bff was that time a nightmare for me. As my 20's something , I was heart brocken that time. Not good as a role model. Who does that? I know its only a Tv show but i thought that time it was normal to steal your Bff boyfriend😮 S3 he was completely a Jerk. He indeed drive that bus, kicking out Shannen. Shannen was the show. Walsches was completely gone after Brendon/Jason left. No turning back. Till this "Presscon". They wont acknowlege Shannen if she didnt made publicly talking about her Cancer.😢 I hate Kelly till now 2023. I grown up with this show!!!!
@@JB-jp9gp Yes, Luke did feel guilty for (and regretted) "driving that bus" and this was some kind of public apology to Shannen for what he had done to her. And I totally believe that Dylan&Brenda was his favourite couple. It was the only sensible answer. All of them certainly know how much Shannen contributed to the success of the show but only Luke gave credit where credit was due. Yes, he had made the mistake back in the past, but at least he apologized in some way. Shannen, Luke and Jason were the heart of the show. And if they (the cast and the producers) had been wise enough , they wouldn't have separated Brenda&Dylan, on the contrary, they would have supported that relationship because Luke and Shannen's magical chemistry was what kept the fans' attention and raised the ratings. After S2 it wasn't the same show. From the enjoyable teenage show it turned into irritating crappy soap opera. S1 and S2 are my favourite. ❤

Respect where is needed; Shannen made that show and I hated that some fans like to forget that she was a really important part of that history also I love Luke Perry (RIP) giving Shannen the respect that she deserves.
So glad Luke spoke about Shannen and may I say without Luke and Shannen in the beginning 90210 would have never been so good. They made that show and then everyone added something to it. Independently what happen back stage with Shannen and the rest of the cast, the show without her was boring. I think production wanted the fans to forget Shannen character "Brenda Walsh". Here we can see that Luke Perry liked Brenda and Dylan story more. 👏👏👏👏 to Luke Perry.
As a Fan i will never forget the S1 and S2 of this show. When u say Beverly hills 90210 i was directly transported to Dylan and Brenda, not the rest of the cast. Shannen, Luke ok sometimes Jason was the Icon on this show. They Rock ❤️ 2023 still is.💋

Susie Jay she was jealous because the show revolves around Brenda and Dylan ‘s relationship. She was the main character and I think deep inside she hated that. I think that’s why? They took Brenda out and that’s why? The writers decided to continue Dylan and Kelly relationship which was a disaster. They never link together hated it !!!!
Dylan & Kelly weren't soulmates, Brenda was his soul mate! I love what Luke said about Shannen though, I know the cast had issues with her but he was so right. Brenda Walsh was crucial to the show and when she went to Paris, her absence was really felt! Every girl added to the show after her (Rachel, Tiffani, Vanessa) were cool but they were there because Shannen wasn't. My favorite couple was David and Donna. They had chemistry and I liked watching them due to their real life romantic history with one another. Tori & Brian were also the babies of the cast so that added to their cuteness to me. Dylan and Kelly- I didn't like how the writers out of the blue, had Dylan ramble about all that soul mate mess, & neither did I like how on-and-off they were. Their relationship was born out of deception so nah they were far from my favorite. Brandon & Andrea, I loved their friendship, but their romantic moments were a bit awkward and towards the end of Gabrielle's time on the show, like season 4, season 5, once she started having sex, got pregnant, and got married, her & Brandon weren't even all that close anymore. David & Donna for the win!
Dylan and Brenda should of ended up together and marry and she couldve gave him the family he always wanted, his mom iris liked brenda better, his sister erica liked brenda better. then brandon and emily shouldve ended up together for good. She had the instant family that he longed for, they both like poetry and like theater and the arts, and they both didnt like the whole college party life and stuff. i think they were better together more intense relationship. oh well in my mind they are together happily ever after with their family and they are happy.

I think the Dylan and Brenda story was the couple who had the most layers because typical parental objections and just general chemistry. I often think Brandon and Andrea was supposed to be the endgame and heart, but it was shelved. Donna and David ended up being that position.

Luke stand up guy he kind shut them all up there to give shannen her voice the truth that she may have been difficult but he had said she great in there scenes together. Yeh dylan brenda forever lol. It is interesting jason said he slept with shannon in real life on the show beginning he also put down her diva ways, tori said she and jason had a summer fling in her book. Shannon book does not give much details on any sexual encounters on set or problems that happened she is a badass. Jennie book she had a crush on luke in real life it seems that they were kind of soul mates in her eyes that he got her in ways no one else could but funny he getting sassy with her and she sprayed binaca in his eye so they had to turn him to reshoot scenes. But yeh he may have been caught in love triangle with the two waring gals. No he is gone they probably 😓😓😓. Oh i heard jason and tiffiny dated to towards end of the show.
