You're in a forest and you hear this sweet and surreal voice signing. You however knew you could not let this siren call control you so you panic. Legend has it if you hear this it means no matter where you are you're dying soon. You breathe faster knowing your demise is coming. You try to run for your life but the more you run the louder the voice gets. Toward the end of the singing, you collapse to the ground panting searching for the air you desperately need. Gasping... Choking... Not even seconds later you're in the clutches of this sinister forest siren. You hear a crack and then everything is quiet and dark. This siren had fed off you're fear and soul. It says that she is looking for her next victim and lightly singing, while waiting... and waiting.. and waiting...

Lullaby of Woe for me is not a scary song. I find it comforting, to be honest, I listen to this every time I fall asleep with my window open as the cold, calming wind enter. Lauren's voice in a stairwell just made it more comforting and now, I'm sleepy.

I wish that one of these days a random guy perfectly sings along and complements your voice in the most hauntingly beautiful duet.

I feel like really good songs to sing are Victoria Carbols especially the ones based on throne of glass. E.g the ballad of Terrasen, A song of Aldaran (Nesryns song), the song of the witch kingdom and probably the most chilling and scary one Celaenas dirge (there is an Old English and English version). These are all amazing songs based on a book series!
