The 50 peso bill released in the Philippines by El Banco Espanyol Filipino de Isabel ll in 1908, a bank established during the Spanish colonial period. It was the first Filipino/Spanish Bank in our country and later (this day) became (BPI) Bank of Philippine Island. However, the first 500 Peso Bill was printed and circulated in public in 1949 during the term of Pres. Manuel Roxas. It was then re-printed again during the Marcos Sr. and Cory Aquino's presidency.
