You know it’s strange. I have gotten snobby with watches, but I bought this recently for work. I love it more than any Casios I’ve purchased. The strap in particular is underrated. Actually been wearing it outside the workplace.

I have one omega, one Rolex, a variety of Casio and Timex and a Hamilton and then this exact luminox. Don't get me wrong I love my Rolex 1000% but for everyday goes with every thing and every occasion, I wear this luminox non freaking stop. I love it

I gotta be honest, I absolutely hate this "blackout" gimmick from Luminox. Recently bought one and returned it within 24 hours and got a 3583 instead. On these "blackout" watches it just looks cheap and unappealing like an unfinished prototype. Maybe some people like it, but I fail to see the appeal.

Luminox are great watches, but G-Shock squares will probably always be my preference for that type of tool watch. Still, tritium od awesome.

Just picked one of these up for myself. Tried a G-Shock 2100 series but just didn't like the feeling, whereas this hits the mark perfectly. Recently coming off the back of having an Apple watch for a long time, it's nice to just have a good looking watch on my arm over something constantly vibrating in unison with my phone.

Nice. This one is super tough too, so you got that covered too.

Really like the super stealth watch and it is certainly tough. I really like g-shocks too and I agree, I don't think they're childish at all. My only issue with Luminox is they seem to make massive watches and only a few small ones. Shame because I would really like one.

For what it’s worth, they make this is sub 40mm. But that one actually wore a lot smaller than expected and went with this one, despite having tiny wrist.

Get a Casio MRW-200H or a Bertucci DX1 with the fiber reinforced resin case. 👌🏼 Both have reliable/accurate Miyota quartz movements.

CHEAP This watch was given to me by my wife and children as I went out on a hostile deployment overseas. I asked my wife for a watch with superior illumination at night that would last for several days on over night operations. I have several watches but needed one specifically designed for operators. She did a significant amount of research and this watch was the one she chose, based on the information they touted on your website. I could have taken some of my other watches, but this was the new one my family had gotten me specifically for this trip. So it is what I took. Upon receiving it before leaving for my tour I was very happy. It was just the type of watch I had wanted. It looked good and had the functions I needed. I was confident in its durability as I left. That apparently was not the case. Before leaving, myself and my teammates discussed essentials to take. A good watch was one of them and I displayed the new watch my wife and children gave me. I was almost bragging about it. I now regret that. I left on my trip confident in the watch and it’s capability to perform as advertised - specifically to the military as is displayed on every page of your website. It is literally a key piece of their branding. Not just two weeks into deployment I was at work and put on my blouse to head outside and the watch fell off. When I went to grab it, the top left portion of the case had broken off. Like a cheap piece of plastic. For the next few days I had to operate without a watch until I could get to literally a bazaar and buy a cheap watch that had some functionality. I could not address the issue while I was gone so tucked away the broken watch counting on the “iron clad” warranty you also advertise on your website. Once I returned my wife and I, trusting in your company and its touted warranty, paid to have it sent to you for repair. So now we have paid not only the cost of the watch, but the shipping so that we could use the alleged spectacular warranty they tout on their website. The repair we were quoted was around $190!! Over half of what we paid for the watch. That is just shameful. You market to the military community and plaster warranties all over your website. I have the watch for less than a fifth of my deployment, it falls apart while getting dressed, and what we get is either a bill for a ridiculous amount or a charge to send it back. The only reason we chose to pay to get it home was because it was a gift from my wife and children before I left. So it sits in my shelf. Broken. Amongst the several other fantastic watches I have had over the years from other companies that have worked just fine and with warranties that have actually worked. You should note that the cheap watch I bought in that bazar for almost nothing works just fine and is what I now use when I am doing outdoor activities. This company should be ashamed of their practices. They are happy to advertise military grade quality and warranty while charging premium prices. When they are asked to show some integrity they charge us to have a broken gift sent home. I cannot tell you how displeased I am and how regretful I am that my wife did so much homework to purchase a watch from my children before I left that fell apart and a warranty that was not abided by. I really hope that my warnings are heeded, particularly with in the Military, about the false advertising, lack of quality, and terrible customer support we have received. They are a large company fleecing the military community out of money for cheap products. I hope the comments I leave online and through word of mouth will be heeded by others in my community.

Interesting…and sad to hear if the quality has dropped and they’re targeting MIL. I haven’t bought a Lumi in 5 years and one 15 years ago was a gift from the wife. Both have held up thru multiple deployments with some strap/battery swaps needed. Now I don’t have any Carbonox models. My unit issued ones (Suunto, Fenix and Casio) all held up but straps and wear have taken those out. Sad to hear they didn’t replace for a “new” one. Thank you & your family for your service!

I just became aware of this response and I need to clarify - the watch was defective and I was extremely disappointed during my deployment. Luminox did reach out to me, but the company response was essentially “we will look into it” (paraphrasing). However. Upon writing some of these reviews the Company ShopWorn, who my wife and kids did not purchase the watch from, reached out to me directly. Their CEO called me directly and even though I explained I did not purchase from them directly they insisted on making this right. Within just a few days they sent me a new watch. A very kind gesture from a company I had not purchased the watch from. I have since recommended their company to all of my team members. Despite my explaining that this was not their fault and not on them they insisted the watch be replaced. And it was. I don’t want this to sound like an advertisement - my issue was frustration with the company. However ShopWorn insisted on replacing it and followed through. I am wearing the watch as I type this.

This is Brand claim to fame is it's ability to keep it's luminosity for 25 years, with out having to push or pull anything. The Casio G Shock, is a terrific watch other wise, if you play this video and listen, you will answer your question.

Has anyone compared the Luminox to the Victorinox. I am aware they are very different based on their designed function. I am just a fan of overbuilt things in general and am starting my watch journey with some research, this brand is among the top 5 on my list. Victorinox currently is holding my top spot for first watch. Probably the INOX because it's the most robust of their line. If anyone knows of anything else I should look into, please let me know.

Tridium is a hydrogen isotope, you don’t have to expose it to light to activate it. It stays lit for decades

Might get one eventually. But for now it’s cheap digital Casio’s, Chinese microbrand/homage watches, and a Casio MRW-200H for work.

Since the watch appeared much smaller in person to you I wonder where are they measuring the 44 mm in diameter from? Are they including the crown guards and bump out opposite that?
