This song has something to it ... Despite so many years and how old the anime has grown, this song is timeless. Feel the mystery and the tragedy in the content. This is not what today's anime does. When I hear this song ... I am reminded of the Arcueid scene at school about talking about spending time with herself, her smile and losing to Roa's opponent. It still hurts.
Un sentimiento llamado Nostalgia... Esa música revive todo lo que disfrutamos en los años venideros. Una perfecta recomendación que veré ese súper anime chido.
I actually watched the anime before reading it, all I could remember back then was how bad it was even without anything to compare it to. The silver lining was the music, but that can hardly save a badly made show like this one lol. I almost didn't want to read the VN after this anime, glad I gave it a chance anyway since it's Type-Moon after all.
Devi Tobi I just found out about the anime from Carnival Phantasm. Is it better to watch the anime or to read the manga? I am really hooked up on the OP tho.
I watched this back in 2006ish and instantly fell in love. I was so disappointed by the lack of the effort put into the anime that it broke my heart. I just finished reading the manga (10 years later lol) and feel accomplished. Still sad though. The OST is amazing.
@@normaldude6699 The name of the manga is: Shingetsutan Tsukihime At this point you've probably already read it, but if not, plz do, it really beautiful
Gonna rewatch the anime, there's this nostalgic feeling that older anime gives u, a feeling that is unknown yet feels so familiar, this anime was one of many that gave me that feeling
Damn the character design is beautiful. That cover art is beautiful. Just wish the animation and setting and background art of the anime is better though. How wonderful would it be if the Tohno mansion is fleshed out, and each night street scene is immersed in blue, black occasionally lighted by streetlamps.
@@r.k845 I'm a little disappointed that only the Arcueid and Ciel routes will be released for now, but it isn't much to get worked up over as the first VN is going to be like 45 hours.
@@agravain9006 45 hours is fucking tons. Keep in mind that's the 2nd half will be released only like 2 years later at most. They already have all the assets.
I may be a blasphemer not having been partial to the source material, but I must say in comparison to must other types of fantasy/drama-esque anime out there that feel the need to hide behind being a Romantic Comedy, Tsukihime's anime really nailed it's feel. I won't go saying anything about it's quality (as I don't feel qualified to do so), but unlike a grand deal of anime that are often a slog to sit through due to the sheer simplicity and similarity to other titles, this one I really really enjoyed.
+Tomoboy2436 Its a shame, but all Animes cannot be as good as the VN. Cept the ones that are better than the VN, but that's rare from what I have seen. I suppose it is all about taste.
1. The anime was saved by the great soundtrack (and good art) 2. At the time the anime was made, there was very little of the manga to work with. The plot was inevitably going to be unsatisfying.
What's this op for, all I see is an awesome song playing on top of fan art for tsukihime, a shame it doesn't have an anime adaptation Maybe ufotable will adapt the remake after that comes out
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is always a good starting choice, as is Attack on Titan, Death Note, and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. If you want another vampire anime, than you'll want to check out Hellsing Ultimate. It has Dracula fighting against an army of Nazi Vampires. Now, if I can recommend some older anime series/movies... --Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2033 --Scrapped Princess --Steam Boy --Ninja Scroll (1993 Film) --Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
Q cosas: UNO d mis animes favoritos y con una grandiosa melodía ... AMO esta música 🎶 🎼 🎵 ... Una gran serie animada 🎬 ... Lunar Legend Tsukihime 🌙 ¡! ...
I think Tsukihime anime has the same potential as Fate Stay Night 2006. I like the version 2006 but it has its own problems like Tsukihime. However, they are viewsble and shouldn't be rejected
Having watched the anime and played the route the anime adapts very recently, I can say the VN is far superior if you can get past some pretty standard and not so terrible translation issues. The anime didn't really do it much justice, as the VN has much greater buildup, the action while purely read is more memorable, the character development feels right. The anime didn't really make much of an impact on me on it's own, until I managed to get my hands on the VN years down the line. In short, anime does a poor job of telling a small part of the VN's great story. The VN managed to get the emotion from my apathetic ass. I haven't read the manga yet. The single thing anime has on VN is the music imo, which can get repetitive but usually fits the scene.
this "feel" is actually great for tsukihime... if only they actually adapted the far side routes and didnt suck the life out of every character. Eerie and Dark Slowburn doesnt equal boring and lifeless Also, the anime cant use the excuse that they had to take elements from every route so they messed up, i mean,... look at the Manga adaptation, it took liberties from every route yet was still able to stick the landing and ended up a pretty good adaptation
