I'm currently going to a highschool that is enrolled and taking part in common core. I can say for a fact that I went from being a student that loved to learn, to a student that couldn't stand going to school. People really need to understand just what public school is going to kids. Teachers with no people skills, or who really don't care about the student. In fact I was kicked out of class just the other day FOR BLOWING MY NOSE WHEN I HAD A COLD. The teacher even said if I'm that sick to have to blow my nose (even when he has a Kleenex box) I should have stayed at home, but if you miss more than ten days now (THAT INCLUDES A DOCTOR SAYING YOU CANT GO FOR A FEW DAYS) you are labeled "clinically absent" and you must pay a fine and you are no longer eligible for field trips, after school activities(sports), as well as any free scholarship program! It's absolutely ridiculous what these schools are doing to us. People just really don't understand. Every adult goes "oh when you get older you're gonna wish you were back in those days so just deal with it!" But it reality the reason suicide rates are so high is because kids are forced to learn things they have no interest in learning ALL DAY and if they are having trouble and fall below an "A" average, the are considered obsolete. (I just happen to have an "A" average, so this is coming from someone that's doing pretty well) people really need to reform EVERYTHING about our embarrassment of an education system.

real quick, not sure if the law differs from Texas to New York, but here in NY the first girl being 13 years of age would be charged as a JO, otherwise a Juvenile Offender. Still, I laugh at the notion that people don't know the history of the two dollar bill being a real thing. at one point in my childhood growing up, I asked my parents if the $2 bill was real, and my mom said no. my dad, then turned around from watching the TV and said yeah it was. My mom the said "shut up Gene". the next day, he came home with a $2 bill and asks her what it was. She just gave him the stink eye and left the room. Think about it to this day and laugh my a$$ off every time.

I work in the back office of a big box retailer and spend about 2 hrs every morning counting all the cash and preparing the bank deposit for the day and I can tell you for a fact those pens don’t work. They are super inconsistent we don’t use them anymore. There is a special black light device you can buy called a fraud fighter but even they have problems with older bills like the one in the picture. Also if someone dose try to pay with a counterfeit bill at most you just refuse to take it, worst case scenario where someone dose get large amounts of counterfeit currency past you, ya know what you do? Nothing you include it in the bank deposit like you would if it was real and the bank will either take the deposit or confiscate the bills and then eventually either you or the bank will be reimbursed by your or the banks loss insurance! Cause that’s what insurance is for! If that school is really that concerned about counterfeit money they should give the lunch ladies currency sheets. Omg how I would love to see that reaction video XD . That lunch lady would never complain about a $2 bill again if the school said she had to use a currency sheet to check for counterfeit bills. She’ll end up spending 20-30 mins checking each bill that’ll teach her... hey teach her, teacher, yay someone will learn something at a school!

When I was stationed in Germany, $2 bills were used lots in the AAFES stores. I collected them and when I returned to the states used them to buy a new dishwasher. I thought the salesman would mess his pants up when he saw them. He couldn't believe it but never thought they were fake.
