I came here for the Hobo stove. What I got was so much more. I’ve watch dozens of Hobo stove vids, so not show casing the stove itself was not a big deal. I loved that you showed your fire making skills. And I myself appreciated the length of it all. It gave me a chance to enjoy the entire songs you choose to go along with a great video. Wonderful job brother!
Someone commented on how long this or that took and that you should have edited it. I disagree. This was real time and so expectations were not high or low. Besides that's what the slider bar is for, so you can speed it up if you want. Nice job man!
I really like your video. Was like having the experience myself. I saw your stove design video earlier on my feed, and had to see it in use. You are very artistic. And it answered my thought upon seeing your other video about what the two eyehooks were for- clever. Now I'll be the one sitting in the aisle at the parts store making sure everything fits right. Thank you so much.
Thanks, man. Beautiful video. I don't understand why some folks were bugged by the pace. I found it relaxing. Also, maybe they don't know they can, you know, skip ahead?
Great video Chris, I enjoyed your video, really don,t care about the shots, care about what I got from the video!!! The stove is killer- like the pack, that Stanley pot is great price of kit. And i like that vest you have on. Thanks for sharing sub!!!!
Good video! Nice to see that you have chosen a Finnish Kupilka bowl for your use. Ikea hobo stove is good and cheap. You have a hatch in your own Ikea stove. That's a good idea.
I like the shot at the beginning showing you walking away from the camera. Very artistic. You should show the shot of you having to walk back to retrieve the camera...
stoves I've seen. Loved the door! Spikes for feet...good idea.vids? This was one fine example of the reason to know what knife to use for the task. Also one of the best hobo stovAre you new to bushcraft videoWhy are you asking thisWhy are
cool video! I'm going to try using wood too, instead of gel fuel cans 👍 however, all those dry leaves around the fire could be a disaster if the stove tipped over.
Is a second bottom added? There seems to at least two flat bolt ends at the bottom row of round holes and two ends with nuts at the opposite end. Was thinking this could be an ash catcher. I was thinking of making some sort of external/add-on ash/ember catcher on mine hobo stove as it makes a lot of ash in a short time.
Ha! If your making Bear Creak it's gonna be a loooong video, lmbo. I do bear creak and it sure ain't as fast as some others but it's cheaper than dirt. I can do a whole weekender for under $10
@@southpawchris704 pretty good idea. I had actually put two bolts thru mine so I could use a sterno can if I wanted and I thought that's what these were for
Yes tip for next time is to show only a short time for each segment. It gets kinda slowed down if you show 2 minutes of feathering. But the shots itself are nicely done
Some crappy music. And if you could make the video another hour or two longer of doing nothing everybody would fall asleep and had a good night rest. It is like watching paint dry, very exciting.
Good grief .... how many knives do you need.... do you carry a proper tea set as well?? Yo must be the last person on earth to carry an aluminum canteen. Please don't make a video on how to make a cat hole.
