When you said "storing the 3D structures in your head and remembering how they all link together- that's the challenge," that was an understatement! Learning both AP 1&2 online due to Covid has been insanely difficult since we do not have access to the 3D models, only what we see through the computer screen. I so appreciate the time you take to make these detailed videos, they are invaluable! Thank you.
Hahahahahahahah that start of the video. The best professor EVER! I like you so much, and alsoooo I am a Veterinary student but you help me alot to learn the anatomy.
Hi Sam! Could you explain for me why left lung have two lobes? All sources I find says its becouse of the heart take space, while you say there is some other reason. Hope you read this! Thank you
Can you do something to explain the lung sounds as far as why does the left posterior often sound decreased when standing in the right side of the patient. Is it the stethoscope or is there an anatomical reason within the lungs ? Please
Nice video as usual , good detail , - do you think you missed to talk about the blood supply to lungs and venous drainage --> ? ?bronchial vessels , draining into azygous venous system , any nerves ?lymphatics? for completion . I expect these are in a another video ! -
This is why I don‘t read books anymore. I just watch videos and my grades are actually so much better, plus it saves so much time and is so much more fun.
@@valeaves I am first year mbbs student Plz tell me about your experience If I see only the Sam vebster videos Can I pass anatomy Instead reading all those huge boooks
@@saher997 I mean, you really have to find out for yourself but as you asked about my experience: there were three components that helped me manage to „cope“ with anatomy. Sam, because he made me understand. A small book or script which is called Endspurt in Germany that sums up the most important tricky facts and questions. And finally, I had some premade flashcards which helped me see if I could explain all the learnt stuff. So, no, I didn‘t use only the videos but it may have been possible to get through with just those, I don‘t know. Fact is, I didn‘t only use them in addition but they were kinda the main source I‘d come back to when I had to study anatomy. Hope this helps a little 😬
Subscribed! So comprehensive! This is such a very helpful video of understanding the anatomy of the lungs. Book itself is not enough. But with this, I can now easily relate to the definitions and explanations written in the book. Just perfect reference for my NCLEX-RN preparation! Thank you for doing this
Videos are helpful but you talk waayyyy too much. Some things you say aren't even relevant/off topic. Can you try just point and tell what it is and then move on to the next? Videos would be a lot shorter and more helpful. It's anatomy after all, not the physiology part. Just point and keep it moving. Pls
Thank you so much sir, the awesome part of video which i felt was when you explained how blood vessels and lungs communicate . Really appreciate your effort sir.❤
All of this complicated and amazing structure of our bodies can't come by itself The more I study anatomy the more I get closer in my relationship with the One True Almighty God
interesting points ,if anyone else needs to find out about human anatomy physiology try Laophiaa Cranial Blueprint (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my cousin got amazing results with it.
hello sir, i am a medical student from Sri Lanka. you are just awesome and so cool. you made me to love anatomy, you are my favorite You Tuber... thank you so much for everything. And remember, YOU ARE THE BEST...
I gain so much understanding from you, You are my go to Professor, the repetition of A & P Lingo is what sets it further in my mind to follow along in lectures. I feel you are a mentor with the nature hikes incorporated with learning....I give so much gratitude towards you starting these videos in the first place. i would be lost without these.
bronchopulmonary segments are not explained sir. its included in general snells anatomy in 1st year. kindly make this along with lymph drainage. thanks
It would be a little more interesting if you could please reach the point... Your teaching is great for those who understand the more technical side of the lungs. great video
