That lovely Lacewood/Leopardwood is beautiful. You very tastefully nailed the illusion of a yellow perch without compromising the woodgrain. Fantastic!
Nice job putler, pootler, putlar, whatever the hell you said... Your lures are legendary.... You ??? Well... that remains to be seen..... Great vid bro !!!
You’re a master with that air brush. 🤘🏻 I’d love to see an air brushing tips and tricks video from you coving all the basics. How you mix paint, clean between colours, deep clean, PSI for what kind of details, any kinda tips/tricks you know from your experience in bait painting.
That turned out beautiful! It looks like it already wants a wide wobble so when things thaw out up there I bet it will move great in the open water. I have some gorgeous walnut from one of my coworkers brother that passed away last year that I may do something like this with.
That's awesome! The timber looks great too, it reminds me of a native timber here in NZ called Rewarewa. If you rift saw it, the grain looks just like trout parr marks
awesome as always. When drilling/sawing very hardwoods I found a little spritz of lemon oil that is used for guitar fretboards on the tool helps keep the chips from sticking to the tool and a wipe with mineral spirits removes the lemon oil from the wood
Great video and awesome lure!! Great to see you used some colorshifts in the head details, really cool little extra that makes them look so natural. The action looked great too, definitely going to catch some nice muskies! 👊
A really great lure. the painting and finishing is amazing. Could you make a hybrid lure? Where would be the paddle tail and that tail would not be firmly attached to the front? A bit like svartzonker mcmio, but with a paddle tail?
Nice !!! I was hoping to see your video this weekend. Can’t wait to see the next one. Don’t know why but something telling me the next lure is going to be blue and yellow 😉😉 Thanks for sharing your nice work again 🤘🏻
Hello, I was wondering wether you could use the true coat epoxy in the cold, my garage gets down to around 3 degrees celcius. Do you think that is too cold for the epoxy?
As always it's a great artist 👍👍👍 Can you tell me where I can get "Truecoat" within Europe? I've tried tons of different top coats and paid a lot of money for crap. Blisters, bumpy, stained... It sucks 😣 When are you going to make an original European perch? I've tried/done a few, how can I send you photos? I hope you are doing well in Canada! Greetings Henrik
How do you do the clear coat in the winter? I would like to do it but in the winter I have no ventilation and am worried about the fumes and the smell.
The stuff I use (true coat) does not smell nearly as bad as other brands out on the market, I fact I can hardly smell it when it's curing so it's not really an issue with me. Only thing that's a little annoying is the cure time cos of the lower Temps it cures much slower.
As you know, Mikko, I love your work, including this GORGEOUS muskie bait. But I have grown to HATE your bathtub, and its shortcomings as a test tank are, as you well know, particularly evident with this lure. How about a local swimming pool? Is there a YMCA Canada nearby? Or a high school or college that has a pool? If so, I'm sure you could find a janitor who loves to fish and could be bribed with one of your lures to let you into the pool area "after hours." Just a thought . . . Chris
@@SolarfallBaits PLEASE, don't do that! I'm primarily a saltwater fisherman, so your bigger baits-including all those you design for muskies-are of particular interest. Since you don't like the pool idea, I'll happily shut up and wait for spring!!!
@@MiroslavTsekov sorry i misunderstood your comment the video i was talking about is this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aBIWfkeDCUI.html
I made the mistake of putting glue too close to the rattle chamber on my first build with one. At least one of the beebee's was free so it kinda rattles hahaha
