They purposely left off this and Xtraloveble from the 1999 deluxe because of the rape references, although I don't understand why they couldn't have just included an edit of each since those lyrics come later in both songs. It could have been easily done. Both are monster jams.
💜 Definitely off of EXTRALOVEABLE. I do think the R-word fits in more with this song because it's a cutting-edge song and Extraloveable is a dance song. But the R-word could had been changed to " Take " instead. It means the same thing but it doesn't come across as strong. But you are so right. Both of these song could be really huge. Their so different and incredible.💜
@@purpleflowers699 I was thinking "hate" could've been the replacement word. It's apparent the estate didn't want to risk Prince falling in the "me too" shit. Can't say I blame them.
They are simply keeping the best vault tracks for later releases. You know, they will keep on releasing stuff forever so maybe at some point we will have Lust U Always & Extraloveable.
