I’m 22 so I didn’t grow up on Luther, I know the big hits, but when I did my research, I fell in love! He has the smoothest, crisp voices I have ever heard. It’s so beautiful, I get filled with warmth every time I listen to him 😭 he’s AMAZING! And what’s crazy, is his live performances are better than the studio version 😱

This song transitions into "Creepin" on the album, which is smooth AF. He ends this song with the a capella "if only for one night...." And the first words in "Creepin" are... "and it's gonna be tonight..."

Missing Luther like crazy! The background singers were like no other background singers on the planet! Their voices compliment Luther so well and their harmonies were perfection! ❤️

One of my favorites that he has sung. He sounded the exact same when singing in front of an audience. No lip syncing at all. You should see the NAACP performance.

This is a ballad. A thematic performance which cannot be compared to intro, hook, verse songs that you can easily pause on and comment because of predictability. You cant predict a ballad like this one and they don't give you places to pause and comment. It's a beautiful continuation

Its too bad that you won't have a chance to catch him in concert. There are concert videos, especially of him at Wembley Stadium, from his last tour. When you've reacted to a majority of his songs, check that one out. However, as good as it is, its nothing like being in the same room with him, his background singers and his orchestra. I saw him twice, early in his solo career and at the end. The early performance featured this R&B/Jazz anjenue/phenom named Anita Baker as his opener. The last one was at Radio City Music Hall at Rockefeller Center. Thats one block from where they put up that huge Xmas tree in NYC every year. Anyway, my date and I were there, on Valentines Day. We had 2 tickets, center section, about 50 feet from the stage. It was a night, full of magic, romance, humor and some joyful noises. It was a night that I'd never forget.

The music was so soothing. I definitely discovered many gems listening to that station💕🤩
