Patricia Janecková has the voice of an angel fallen to the earth. She is highly talented and her voice produces a homogenic shaping of vowels.

The one thing she needs is, time. In time, she will become one of the greatest sopranos of our covid times. But, for now, Anna Netrebko rules the roost. Still, the young lady is so talented she will go on to do great things in the music world. She is certainly in the right space. She must simply give it time, and the depth, the fullness of her greatness, will soon shine through in all her performances, as it happened with Ms Netrebko, and probably Ms Callas before her too. I wish her great things in life. She's good.

Beethoven said Handel was able to achieve dramatic effects with simple techniques and praised him as the greatest composer. This piece, sung by the lovely Patricia Janeckova -a rising star is a thing of elevated beauty , It Rivals any aria from any time from any opera. The versatile Janeckova is a singer I shall follow closely .She has a bright future.

There is no wavering in the voice, a beautiful pure tone. There are some artists who are able to transport us into the light of another realm - miss Janáčkův is one of them.

Beside her physical beauty that may askew the evaluation, and her singing technique that may be not perfect, the timbre of her voice is truly angelic.

In reading next comment, my question is whether singing this song in the right range and flawlessly is considered “lack of depth”. Sure seems it. I have several versions of this piece, and Ms. Janeckovas is by far the truest to what Handel has in mind. Brava!

She’s a young soprano with a wonderful voice. The aria „Ombra mai fu“ usually is a tenor aria of King Xerxes (Serse), so the role is not covered exactly. But I love this piece sung by a charming young lady 👏
