I loved getting my feet measured at Clarkes, my store had this enormous electronic contraption, you stood on it, slipped your foot in and I seem to remember blocks sliding up to your foot from all around and hey presto, you're measured!
Lovely to see the Barclay's "Dad's Army" advert with Arthur Lowe and Ian Lavendar. So sad to think just 3 weeks after this broadcast Lowe would die of a massive stroke.
