From Bill Condon's 2004 movie "Kinsey" starring Liam Neeson as the pioneering researcher. Through the film, talking heads speak directly to camera about their own experiences: this scene near the end features Lynn Redgrave (who'd earned a second Oscar nomination for Condon's previous feature, "Gods and Monsters") in an unexpected cameo explaining how Kinsey's work touched her own life.

Should really be this projects deliberate molestation of dozens of children that makes you cry.

@@thatinternetdude1392 For context, my comment is 10 years old. I was in my early twenties when I wrote this. Having struggled with thoughts of suicide because of my own sexuality, this scene comforted me. At no point did I ever comment or condone anything regarding the actual project. Simply put, Lynn Redgrave did a great job portraying the emotional turmoil many of us LGBTQIA+ endure. And it is for this reason that this scene stands alone. If you had bothered to ask, rather than criticize, you wouldn’t look like an ass right now.

@@yokokanno25 Wasn't really trying to critisize you--so I'm sorry. I was trying to critisize this portrayal of the project which turns something horrifying that I'm personally effected by into a warm and touching piece of Hollywood unreality.

Superb. Extremely powerful. Could be shown in acting classes, for obvious reasons.

THANK YOU for uploading this scene. I wasn't particularly fond of the whole movie, but Redgrave is practically luminous in this scene. Just goes to show that you don't need hours of screentime to deliver a powerful performance!

Incredible scene. Redgrave deserved an Oscar for that one scene. And everyone knows, she should have been given the Best Actress Oscar for Gods and Monsters. Unquestionably. Another Academy failure. No shortage of those !

This was a great scene! Too bad she never won an Oscar. She totally deserved it for GODS & MONSTERS. I was rooting for her.

That is an astounding scene. I've seen bits of the movie over the years, but had no idea about Redgrave's powerful contribution. A much underrated actress in a lightly remembered film.

Oh how touching! Ever since I read of her passing, I have become really familiar with her work... She is a true star. Funnily enough, the final scene with Vanessa in 'Atonement' mirrors this very precisely, a pivotal monologue that sums up the themes and plot of the film. Very beautiful!

If you need a monologue performed, call a Redgrave! Natasha Richardson gave a great monologue in Patty Hearst

You all know that Kinsey condoned pedos and was also very likely to have been one himself.

@@ZukoHalliwell Collected data from convicted child molesters and on top of that he experimented on young children, he even went as far as to document an orgasm of a 5 MONTH OLD BABY!
