I remember Friday, December 8, 1989. Going to school was a waste of time because I was going to see Motley Crue for the first time that night. Fuck everything else. My buddy picked me up later on in his old Duster and "City Boy Blues" was blasting out of the car speakers. Epic night. Being 16, 17 and going to a big rock show with your buds, and nothing else mattered because you were the lords of all creation.....you can never get those days back. But I got to experience that and the Crue played a big part. Thanks you crazy fucks :)
@@tosh5376 I feel that man, social media makes everything seem shitty, but there was a lot of bullshit back then too, in music, politics, etc. but kids knew how to rock out lol; We all gotta stop being so uptight these days and put our phones down and live! Just don't follow the Crue's example if you've seen The Dirt movie, they got lucky, the rest of us would probably be dead if we did all that:)
@@tosh5376 90's were pretty shit really. After grunge ruined everything there was very little great new music around. We got demolition 23, a few great black crowes albums (and awesome tours from them as well), the '94 Corabi motley album, which ended up being the last great album and tour from them, short-lived as it was, some d-generation was ok, and that was mostly it. Terrorvision had a few decent songs, wildhearts were ok, but that was about it for new bands really. 80's were the time to be around. That was great. Tons of new great bands and music coming out. Cobain and co. fucked rock n roll big time, bunch of fucking morbid losers.
This was 30 years ago!! I’m not so sure that Vince really got over the death Razzle and his daughter. I’m sure it’s taken a toll on him. And he’s probably been fighting depression for a long time. People talking shit on his weight, yea it’s funny but who knows what he’s been dealing with in his life
I feel like when his kid died he started eating to try to feel good. But drugs after so many years can make you fat sometimes too it might just be both too
Exactly, I thought rock was about rebelling against society and what everyone thinks you should look like. Nowadays it seems like Vince’s weight is the only thing people care about. He’s a fucking rock star, not a lingerie model.
Us who were young in the 80’s teens, 20’s had it so good. We didn’t even know it. There was nothing like the days before a rock concert was about to hit your city. Then the day of the show was here. The excitement! Your heroes were in your city. Breathing the same air. Maybe going on a local radio station. Iron Maiden. Judas Priest. Motley Crue. The Mighty Van Halen! Those were the days. Then going to school the next day and telling the poor bastards who couldn’t go what a great show it was. Then for the next month writing the group’s name on your homework folder bc that’s what we did back then. Long Live Rock n Roll! I’m 53 now and I still rock. It’s in my blood. 🤘🏽☝🏽🎸🇺🇸👯♀️🍻
I’m 18 years old and DAMN do I wish I was a teen in the 80’s. My parents and aunts and uncles were. But of course I have to be born in my shitty generation with rap, instead of some real music, like Mötley Crüe🤘🏻🤘🏻🔥🔥🎸
Ok camera man....Nikki Sixx is the bass player not lead guitar...even if he is headbanging it doesnt 't mean he is playing the solo. How about focusing on the great Mick Mars at least ONE time?
Yeah, really.. Nikki is my favorite because I can relate to him the most, but I LOVE MICK MARS. At exactly 0:38 in Take Me To The Top, you can hear him just fucking rocking that guitar. That riff is amazing.
Man I wish I could have been born 40 years ago so I could’ve seen these guys in their prime they sounded amazing live I’m the only 19 year old I know that listens to me still
Kirk Hammett he could sing in the too fast for love days, and then after they cleaned up he could sing in the doctor feelgood days. The doctor feelgood tour was their prime, Vince does great here, he holds his notes and stays in key while running around stage. After this tour, his singing days were never the same. Hopefully he’ll bring it back for the stadium tour, I’ve sing pictures and he’s fucking ripped rn. Also on a side note, you fucking suck Kirk! MEGADETH FOR LIFE!!🤘🤘🤘
ALL RIGHT ALL YOU HARD CASES, I REMEMBER THE 80's & 90"S, ALL THE GIRLS WANTED HIM, (PRIME EXAMPLE: ORIGINAL "HOME SWEET HOME," VIDEO) AND ALL US GUY'S WANTED TO BE HIM!!!!! SO CUT HIM SOME SLACK, WHEN YOU ARE THAT GREAT AT BEING "THEE LEAD SINGER OF ONE OF THE GREATEST HEAVY-METAL GROUPS OF ALL TIME," IT'S GOTTA BE A LIVING DEATH TO GIVE IT UP, ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!!!! "SELAH!!!!!"
I saw them the next year at the Murphy Center in 1990 in Murfreesboro, TN. It was awesome ! I was 18 and my girlfriends parents took us. They were rockers ! We didn’t know it but my girlfriend who became my wife later that was year was one month pregnant. So I always tell my daughter she was at the Motley concert in 90. I’m a guitar player in a classic rock cover band and she grew up loving all that music.
It’s the little things that Tommy does while drumming that I love. Like how high he raises his left arm while hitting the snare 🤣 idk why but I just like that, it’s so him lol
omg so did i... i was laughing so hard i woke my son up i couldn't stop laughing..not sure which vid you saw but the very first comment has the lyrics of what Vince was actually singing and if you listen to it..its right and omg its funny..Take Care
I wasn't a huge fan til I watch "the dirt". Now, i'm hooked. These guys are the real deal Vince come on man. A year of hard work and you could get back to it!
I had to see the original after seeing that 2019 version... OMG...even this shitty VHS recorded from TV quality is 10000x better then the 4kHD 2019 version. what the hell was he thinking doing a concert that long after "retiring"
