I have a blast every time I take it out! I hate to say it but it rivals the much more expensive BMW M1000R!! With the M4, it sounds amazing including crackles and pops and it also gained a bit more power according to the butt dyno. All that at 87 Octane and 45+ mpg ... lol

Pretty much, it’s the Inline 4 cylinder design vs a parallel twin that everyone went to because of emissions. That is why it is technically detuned from the factory (in Canada even more so). But you can “unlock” an extra 20 hp with just a simple flash that various places offer like TST industries.
